Story Layout...
Arnav Singh Raizada...age 24 years old doing his final year in MBA...soon going to be the head of flourishing fashion empire AR designs.
Khushi Gupta...age 24...also doing her final year in MBA and best friend to Arnav...their parents are family friends...Arnav and Khushi have grown up together and over the years they became best friends.
Arnav woke up with a jerk...his dream had been interrupted by the loud annoying ring of his alarm and again his beautiful dream about his faceless angel had been interrupted...each time he came close to seeing his angel's face the alarm came in the way...well he could only curse his best friend Khushi for that...she was the one who set his alarm...she kept complaining that it was coz of him that she always got late for college...well he had argued with her that she could come and wake him since she lived next door...actually getting up late was an excuse...he thought by this way atleast he could see her face first thing in the morning...but Khushi was unreasonable...she had refused point blank and set his alarm...damn his best friend was crazzy but he loved her...yes Arnav Singh Raizada was secretly in love with his best friend Khushi and he knew she was the angel in his dreams though he hadnt seen her yet !!!
He got dressed quickly...a smile on his face...he knew Khushi would be waiting for him at the breakfast table...they always had their meals together...it was their ritual from their childhood days to feed each other...even their parents loved seeing their children together...they nursed a secret ambition in their minds...they hoped their children would fall in love and get married to each other but till now they had not been lucky to hear any such news but still they kept their hopes high !!!
Arnav came down to see Khushi waiting for him as usual...her beautiful face lit up into an angelic smile as she saw him...she got up and hugged him tight...they had their breakfast and left for college...Arnav took Khushi to college on his bike...as soon as they reached they were surrounded by their friends NK Lavanya Anjali and Akash...NK and Lavanya were a couple but Akash and Anjali were single but they had a thing for each other which none of the others knew...Akash and NK knew that Arnav had always been in love with Khushi but try as much they did he just couldnt confess it...he was scared of being rejected and losing Khushi's friendship...but what he didnt know was that Khushi was also in love with him and she too was scared of the same thing but no one knew Khushi's feelings since she had never let anyone know about it !!!
it was breaktime and as usual they were all gathered under their favorite tree in their college garden...NK and La were as usual upto their pranks while Anjali and Akash kept stealing glances at each other and Arnav as always was lying down with his head on Khushi's lap as she read her favorite Twilight series...Arnav hated Edward Cullen and his vampire charms as much as he loved Khushi...Edward was the only person for whom Khushi ignored Arnav
Arnav: Khushi for heaven sake stop blushing...u have read that book a thousand times already...how much more will u blush ?? what do u see in that guy with his pale white face that glitters...I mean how do girls like him...he looks gay to me !!!
Khushi: Arnav say anything u want but not a word against my Edward...u guys dont like him coz u are jealous...none of u can ever be like my Edward...none of u can love a girl the way Edward loves Bella !!!
Arnav got up from her lap...his eyes shaking with fury as he heard her say that...how dare she compare his love with Edward...a figment of some lady's imagination...damn the author for giving girls such weird ideas !!!!
he caught her by her shoulders and looked her straight in her eyes...
Arnav: dont u dare compare my love with that glittery vampire of yours...its not like u love someone that u know that no guy can love more than Edward...wait till u see me with my girl Khushi and u will realise that I can love my girl better than that stupid vampire of yours !!!!
the others looked stunned as Arnav barged off leaving Khushi on the verge of tears...she didnt know whether to be happy or sad...she felt her heart shattering to a gazillion pieces hearing Arnav talk about his girl...how much she yearned to tell him that she wanted to be that girl...that he was the Edward of her dreams...Arnav on the other hand was in his favorite bench in his and Khushi's favorite spot in their campus...he regretted taking out his anger on her but he hated it when she spoke her book and the characters...he hated Edward...he knew he was being kiddish...he wanted to take her in his arms and tell her that she was the angel from his dreams...she knew about his dreams but she didnt know that he had already decided that she was the angel of his dreams !!!!
Enough...he was done hiding his love for her...he decided that he was going to tell her that she was his angel...he knew he was risking his friendship but it was worth it...he couldnt live without Khushi...the sooner he tells her the better...but he wanted to give her the best proposal...with his signature ASR smirk...he took out his phone to get everything set for his proposal !!!!
Akash couldnt see Khushi crying...he had always considered her as a sister...he knew the reason behind Arnav's anger...Akash knew that it was Arnav's love coz of which he got angry each time Khushi spoke about other guys...he looked around...NK & La had gone off to their afternoon class and Anjali had got a call and she too had left...Akash decided to help Khushi sort out her feelings...he could sense that she too loved Arnav...he went and sat next to her and the next minute he knew she was crying in his arms...he held her tight as she let it all out...
Akash: Khushi stop crying baby pls...u know his anger...he doesnt like it when u talk about another guy...even if its a fictional character like Edward...u know his possessivness when it comes to u...Khushi why do u think he gets angry when u talk about love in front of him ????
Khushi: I dont know Akash...I really dont know but I have to tell this out...I cant hold it anymore...I love him Akash...I love Arnav...my heart breaks when he talks about the angel of his dreams...each time he talks about her I wish it was me...I dont want to loose him and his friendship...I always kept my feelings for him hidden coz I was scared of being rejected...but I cant bear it anymore...I have to tell him !!!
Hearing Khushi Akash burst out laughing...he couldnt control himself...his friends were really crazzy...both of them loved each other and yet kept it away from telling each other coz both of them had the same fears...Arnav and Khushi were really made for each other.
Khushi got annoyed seeing Akash laugh his head off...seeing her annoyed expression he decided to help her out !!!
Akash: Khushi u both are really crazzy...u call yourseleves best friend and yet u dont know each other's heart...Khushi Arnav loves u as much as u love him...u are the angel of his dreams...he kept it hidden from u for the same reason u kept it hidden from him...go silly girl...go to your lover boy and tell him u love him !!!!
Khushi couldnt believe what she just heard...Arnav loved her !!! it was as if all her dreams had come true...she was indeed the angel of his life...she wanted to run straight into his arms...she threw herself into Akash's arms hugging him tight...she kissed him on both his cheeks...unable to control her happiness...
Khushi: I love U Akash...u have given me the happiest news of my life...u are a very special friend Akash...if it wasnt for u then my dreams wouldnt have come true today !!!
As Khushi happily let out her happiness with Akash she didnt realise that the last bit was being overheard by none other than Arnav...he had come back to take Khushi to his special place and tell her about his love but whe he came he had seen Khushi hugging and kissing Akash...her eyes shining with happiness...he had never seen her so happy and now she had told Akash that she loved him...Arnav felt his heart breaking into a million shards...each piercing him stronger than the other...his Khushi...she loved someone else...she loved Akash...Arnav couldnt take the pain...he had lost her...his heart writhing in agony as he turned to leave...not noticing the car speeding along his way...his ears deaf to the deafening horns of the car as he ran straight into it but Khushi had seen it...Akash too had seen it...they had turned to see why the car was blaring its horns so loudly just in time to see Arnav getting hit !!!!!!
Khushi screaming his name was heard louder than the horns...the collision...the entire campus stood stunned as they saw Khushi running towards Arnav who lay covered in a pool of blood...his body looking lifeless...his last vision was Khushi's as she held him crying her heart out...and then it all went black...
