Part 3 

Maya stormed out leaving Khushi to her living hell and banged on her own daughter's door, Payal who was sound asleep made an annoyed face as she heard her mom banging down her door, she looked at the guy sleeping next to her, oblivious to all the commotion, she hated to wake him up but she knew she had to, she was about to call him but then it struck her that she couldn't even remember his name !!

She shoved him awake and asked him to put on his clothes, thats when he realised that someone was waiting outside the  door...

As soon as Payal opened the door, Maya walked in, she stopped when she saw the guy next to Payal, Payal flashed her mom a naughty grin and Maya chuckled...

Payal  was a carbon copy of Maya when it came to her looks as well as her character... Like mother like daughter thought Maya as she smiled at the guy, Payal opened her mouth to make introductions but she was lost since she couldn't even remember his name… Maya caught the lost look on Payal's face…

"Come on Pia, stop struggling with your brain, I can see that you don't remember his name, not to worry, I will ask him myself "

Payal laughed hearing her mother speak, her mother knew her so well after all...

"Hey champ, I am Maya, Pia's mother, forgive my daughter's lapse of memory, do tell me your name ?? "

The guy grinned, it was not everyday that he ran into an uber cool mother who had no issues meeting guys who slept around with her daughter...

"Hello Maya, I am Rick, I am in India on a 10 day trip and met Pia at the disco last night, got to tell you that she is one cool chick I have met here, she gave me one hell of a night yesterday !! "

Maya laughed hearing Rick compliemt Pia...

"Am sure Pia gave you a hard time, she is my daughter  after all , sorry to wake you up so early Rick but Pia needs to get dressed soon, bad news for Pia on the way, its time for her to get hitched so that she makes a respectable wife in the society !! "

Payal gave a horrified gasp, she could see her spinster days finally coming to an end, it looked like her mom  had finally found her someone, she looked at Rick who was laughing his insides out seeing her stunned expression, he came over to her and pecked her on her lips…

"Good luck Pia, I am sure you are going to seduce who so ever the lucky loser is, it was fun meeting you, take care and once again, thank you for the wild night !! "

As soon as Rick left, Payal rounded on Maya...

"what the hell mom ?? who is it now that you have found who you think is suitable for me to settle down ?? "

Maya laughed seeing the annoyed expression on her daughter's face...

" Cheer up Pia, The family is one of the richest in Delhi, they are known all over the world and you can call it our good luck that they asked for your hand in marriage for one of their sons !! am talking about the Raizadas, they have asked  Khushi for Arnav and You for Akash, their 2 sons !! you know how men are, once you are married, you can have them on your fingertips !! now smile sweetheart, I want you to floor the Raizadas on the first glance itself "

Payal smiled as she heard her mother, she had heard of the Raizadas, they were one of the richest as well as influential crowd in Delhi, she didn't give a damn about Arnav liking Khushi but she was determined to make sure that Akash liked her. She knew these rich families and how they worked, beneath the social facade of a happy family, all these people had a life they guarded from the public and Payal was sure that the Raizadas were no less,  if she wanted Arnav later on, she was sure she could seduce him as well, considering the fact that he was getting Khushi, it was going to be easy to snare him as well.

Hours later at the Raizada Mansion.

The Guptas had arrived with their daughters Payal and Khushi, Payal had herself all decked while Khushi had chosen to stick to a simple sari, they were received by Sayali and Alaka who immediately crushed them in a huge hug, Sayali had already informed Samar about the plan and he was all geared up to see his sons fall in love.

Khushi felt a warmth that she hadn't felt in years as Sayali and Alaka hugged her, when they smiled at her, she could see the sincerity reflecting in their eyes, maybe they were a bad lot after all but she quickly chided herself for losing grip...

"Comeon Khushi, you just met them, don't be in a rush to judge them, who knows what lives they lead beneath their happy smiles " Khushi admonished herself as Alaka lead Khushi and Payal inside...

Just then Arnav and Akash walked down and Payal and Khushi halted in their tracks...

Payal had eyes only for Arnav, he looked like he was walking straight out from a Mills&Boons love saga, all she could think of was how to get him to bed with her !!

Khushi felt the air leaving her as she saw Arnav who had eyes just for her, though she hadn't recognised him, she felt  an odd pull towards him, her heart fluttering at an insane pace.

The world became invisible as Arnav stared at Khushi, she looked ethereal in her pale yellow sari with red thread work on its ends, her make up minimal, she was a vision he couldn't take his eyes off from, he could see that she was as affected by him as he was by her but even as he watched, he saw the change that went over her, her eyes which were momentarily lost in his becamecol d, he could see the shutters coming down as she turned cold, the pain he had seen in her eyes in the photo coming visible again.

Akash saw Payal all decked up and he gave a slight smile, looked like she came all ready to get married on the same day itself, he gave a small chuckle as he came and stood in front of Payal...

"Hi Payal, I am Akash , finally happy to see you "

Payal gaped as she saw Akash , so the one she wanted was Arnav but what she landed up with was Akash, well she would slowly seduce Arnav as well, right now it was Mission Akash for her.

"Hi Akash,Mom spoke a lot about you, I am happy to finally meet you. "!!

Maya smiled as she saw Payal warming upto Akash while Sayali and Alaka laughed seeing the 2 love struck men of their house. Samar and Raj walked off to meet the rest of the guests while the ladies left the 2 couples to themselves.

Arnav smiled at Khushi who gave nothing but a cold stare...

"Hi Khushi, I am Arnav, why don't we go for a walk around the garden, somewhere we can actually talk without all the noise and commotion ?? "

Khushi glared at Arnav, it seemed like Arnav was all out to impress with his chivalrous charms but she wasn't ready to fall an easy prey  !!

"Sure Mr.Raizada, we really need to talk, thats the reason I am here !! "

Arnav was surprised hearing her sharp tone, he realised then that getting Khushi to love him back was easier said than done !!

Arnav took Khushi out into the garden, they kept walking in silence, Khushi finally spotted a secluded clearing and lead him towards the spot, Arnav was surprised at her spot selection since she had chosen his favourite place in their garden.

Arnav : Do you do mind reading Khushi ?? How did you happen to pick my favourite place in the garden for our conversation ??

Khushi cut him off...

Khushi: why are you doing this Arnav ?? Is it because your mother wants you to get married to a girl from a respectable rich family in Delhi ??

Is it because of my money ??

Is it because you want a trophy wife whom you want to flaunt in front of the society while you spend your nights in the arms of the different women who throw themselves at you ??

Or is it that you are truly innocent and you love me ?? if thats the case then its better you know me fully before you start loving me !!

Arnav was shocked at the crunching bluntness of her questions, he could see an ocean of pain hurt and betrayal beneath the cold facade of her eyes, he could see a tortured soul and her questions proved his suspicions right !!

Arnav : Khushi, shall I answer your questions one by one ?? and I want you to look into my eyes as I answer your questions.

True that Maa and Alaka got me and Akash proposals from your house, because like any other mother or sister, they want to see Akash and me married and settled.

I am not after your money Khushi, money isn't the center of my world, true that I am rich but that's doesn't make me a greedy bas***d who wants a girl just because she is rich.

True that I have women who throw themselves at me everywhere I go, true that they want to be on my bed, you may find it hard to accept but I am a one woman man Khushi,I have always been waiting for my girl to come along !! Alaka gave me your photo today morning Khushi and I am being very honest with you, It was like meeting the princess of my dreams, and I also know its not the same for you, I can see the pain in your eyes, I know you are breaking inside and I  intend to know you fully before I expect you to love e back the way I love you.

I don't want a trophy wife Khushi, I want you as my wife, I know I cant love anyone else anymore, ever since the time I saw you today morning, I know its going to be you always for me.

There is no rush Khushi, you can accept me or love me when you trust me completely.

Khushi was lost as she listened to Arnav, there was an honesty in his words, a sincerity in his eyes that she couldn't deny, his words were honest, shockingly enough the fact that he had understood her pain, his confession that he loved her and that he would wait, it all scared her, she had never been lucky in love, all the people who had loved her had faced a horrific end, her mother had left her when she was barely a child, Rahul lost his life just because he had made a mistake of being a part of her life. She didn't want Arnav's name added to that list !!

Khushi: Arnav my life is complicated, I am not the kind of girl a family like yours would want, I am broken in ways that you cant imagine, I am too damaged and battered,I carry a lifetime full of painful memories from my past, the ghosts of my past continue to haunt me, as for your brother Akash, I don't know him but I know my step sister, its not right on my part to tarnish her image but she isn't what you can call respectable. An alliance with the Guptas might increase your social stature and power in the society but it can cost you your family's happiness !!

Arnav was once again struck by the brutal honesty of her words, it only increased his determination to make this angel fall in love with him.

Arnav:  Khushi I understand that there is a lot about you and your family that I need to know, why don't you give me a chance to know you ?? why don't try and see if you can love me the way I love you ?? we can take it slow, lets say 6 months for the sake of our families,you and I can get to know each other, I promise you Khushi,there wont be any change in my feelings for you but I need this chance with Khushi, I need you to take a leap of faith with me. Just try once and if you cant , I will leave you to live your life the way you want to but try just once, for me !!

Khushi was lost now, she couldn't understand Arnav !! why would anyone want to put in so much effort for a girl whom he had just met ?? How could she tell him NO when he was being totally fair to her feelings. He was ready to know her past totally and yet sure that nothing could alter his feelings for her, he was already giving space for her  feelings, she couldn't understand him yet but she knew she had to take this chance !!

Khushi gave a silent nod, the smile that her silent nod brought on his face startled her, he pulled her up and gave her a quick hug before letting her go, Khushi was too stunned to react...

Arnav: lets go find our families Khushi, we need to let them know our decision.

Khushi gave him a disconcerted nod and was about to move forward when Arnav slightly pulled her back into his arms and  placed a kiss on her cheeks before whispering into her ears as he looked into her eyes...

Arnav : Khushi I don't know who left that hand print of a slap on your  face but I promise you , no one will dare to touch you or hurt you again !!

Khushi stared in shock as she placed her hands on the side of her cheek where he had just kissed her, she remembered Maya slapping her that morning. She was too shocked to react, she had no idea how had noticed the faint barely visible handprint !!

She gave him a smile...

"Dont make promises that you cant keep Arnav !! "

Arnav smiled at her...

" I intend to keep all the promises I make to you until my last breath Khushi " !!

FF Our 9 Months - Part 25

Arnav held back his tears as he watched the doctors checking on Khushi, fear was clawing at his insides, he wanted her safe, he wanted their baby safe, Anjali had her head on his shoulder as her tears fell heavy on his shoulder, Khushi and Dia both lying unconscious was everyone's worst nightmare, Pooja related everything that happened with Lavanya while Varun told Arnav as to how Shyam escaped.

Arnav looked at his Di who was crying on his shoulders, he felt drained, he didn’t have the strength to even hold her or comfort her, his reserves were letting away, all he wanted to do was rip Shyam limb to limb for putting his sister through this agony but deep down he even knew that he had made a mistake, he had known Shyam’s plan all along, his intention was to help his Di understand that Shyam wasn’t worth a second chance because deep down he knew his sister did have feelings for him but he had also promised himself that he wouldn’t let anyone in his family get hurt in the process and here both Khushi and Dia were victims of the entire trauma !!!

Akash and NK saw the guilt shimmering in Arnav’s eyes, they could understand his feelings, they could see that Arnav was blaming himself for all that had happened and they couldn’t let it happen, Di had to know the entire truth but that had to wait until they knew Dia and Khushi were safe, they saw Arnav getting up and beginning to walk away, they followed him to a safe distance so that the others don’t hear, Varun followed them as well....

Akash held Arnav back....

“Bhai we can see the guilt in your eyes and we aren’t going to let you shoulder this alone, we were all in this together and we will face it together, Di and the others deserve to know the truth and our intentions in doing so but not now, lets all get back home first and then we can tell them, and till then you aren’t allowed to go anywhere from us. Do you get that ?? “

Arnav smiled seeing Akash passing orders....

“Akash, I know the damage is done but don’t stop me now, there are things which needs to be fixed and it has to start now  !! “

They watched as Arnav whipped out his cell phone, the change in his physical demeanour so visible, it wasn’t Arnav now, it was ASR in front of them and he was out for the kill !!

ASR spoke, his words carrying like a war cry !!

“Shyam Manohar Jha shouldn’t leave this country, make sure all the exits are blocked Aman, circulate his photos along with his activities to every single news network in India, I don’t care what it takes but I need the son of a bitch in front of me ASAP, and tighten the security around my home and office and anywhere my family decides to visit, also I need that swine alive,not dead !!! if anyone puts an end to him, then it should be me !! “

NK Akash and Varun felt a chill creeping down their veins , they had never seen Arnav so angry , Arnav saw their terrified expressions and relaxed a little, he gave them a tired smile and went back to the waiting room...

An hour later the doctor came out and smiled at Anjali...

“ Dia is fine now, her head has a little wound but we have cleaned it up now and there is nothing to worry about, since she was just a little kid, the trauma is going to be huge, she will need a lot of love and care, as of now we have put her under sedation, she will wake up in a few hours and then you can take her home. “

Anjali hugged Payal tight hearing Dia is alright, Arnav managed a smile hearing that Dia was fine, but he still felt lifeless, they hadn’t heard anything about Khushi yet, the doctor turned to Arnav, her expression grim...

“Arnav, I can assure you that Khushi is going to be fine but we are still running some tests on her, we aren’t sure about the baby yet, her pregnancy has been really difficult so far, this is the second time she is putting herself at risk, the last I did warn you to be careful, its not normal Arnav, last time someone did want to hurt her, it could have killed her and now this !! even if she gives birth, there could be complications, along with the mother, the baby is also undergoing a lot of stress, all this can affect the baby !!! “

Arnav stood paralysed with shock, the gravity of his mistakes hitting him hard, how he wished he had Shyam packed away to jail along with the proof of his conspiracy early on itself !!! no he had wanted his sister to have a chance to realise that there was no point in thinking the bastard would change !! and doing that he had put the lives of his wife and baby at risk !!!

The rest of the family other than Akash NK Pooja and Varun stood shocked hearing that there had been an attempt on Khushi’s life before as well !!! they weren’t yet aware of the fact that Lavanya had altered the medicines !!

Anjali was the first to speak up...

“whats this Chottey ??? whats the doctor saying ?? who tried to harm Khushi ?? why is it that we don’t know anything ?? what are you hiding from us ?? “

Arnav was at a loss for words , he didn’t know how to explain it all to his sister, the doctor's words were killing him, he wanted Khushi and his baby to be fine, he couldn’t imagine his baby suffering for a mistake that he made !!

NK intervened...

“Di please relax, we all need to show some restraint now, we will explain everything once we are back home, Khushi bhabhi needs us Di, please let her be fine and then we will tell everything. “

Anjali calmed down hearing NK and went and sat with Payal but kept shooting angry glares at Arnav who looked totally broken, Akash went and hugged Arnav who held onto him tight as he broke down, Nani saw her kids breaking down and understood that this problem was more serious than she ever thought, she could sense it that her kids had been hiding a lot for the sake of the family.

Just then the nurse came and handed over the test results to the doctor who went through them and heaved a sigh of relief...

“its good news, Khushi is fine and so is the baby, but am warning you all, no more exertions for her, she needs total rest, her blood pressure is really high and its dangerous during a pregnancy, it can have adverse effects on the baby, she shouldn’t have to undergo any kind of physical exertions, one more wrong turn and we may not be able to save them. She is highly stressed out now,there is a lot of tension in her mind, this is her time when she should be happy, not upset or have fear eating her away.”

Arnav broke in...

“thank you so much doctor, I will meet you in your cabin before we leave but can I please meet Khushi now ?? “

The doctor smiled and nodded and without a word Arnav rushed in...

Khushi  had her eyes closed as Arnav walked in but she sensed his prescence and immediately opened them, she gave him a wavering smile as she watched him walk upto her, she could see that his eyes had gone red with all the tears, his agony clawing at her insides, she held out her arms and Arnav rushed into them, hugging her tight as he broke down.

FF Love In Death Valley - Part 2

Ahi's scream of agony rent through Death Valley waking up the sleeping souls, Daityas burst into his chamber, paralysed with fear at the sight in front of them, Navi, Ahi's most loyal servant lay on the floor rotting away to it death as though it was just another low life of their land, destroyed beyind recognition, their master, the master of all Death Valley Ahi laying writhing in his bed, his hands clutching his right eye, black liquid bellowing  seeping out from its bottomless pit.

What happened in the next few hours, not a soul could comprehend but one thing was crystal clear, it didn't bode well for Arnav, the baby prince who was cuddled in his mother's arms, Mitra and Kanika ( Arnav's parents ) were summoned into Ahi's room, Ahi related all that had unravelled to them in graphic detail, Mitra knew what had to be done, cruelty knew no limits in Death Valley yet the step Mitra was about to take went way above what anyone could call cruelty,

Mitra spoke and his words send a chill right through everyone who was present in the room and all through Death Valley, Mitra had the power to make himself heard over the entire valley when he wanted to and the words that left his lips then were heard all around the valley, it wasn't just a statement but an order, a warning that if anyone dared to go against it, then they would die a death that no one has seen in Death Valley….

"Evil has set foot in Death Valley, the destroyers of darkness are here once again, ready to uproot our haven, the voices of the light are here again, and this time its taken the feminine form, a girl child has been born in Nysa and she is destinied by the Gods to destroy Death Valley and she will attempt to do it through the prince of Death Valley, Arnav !!

Henceforth Arnav will not know a woman's love or care, not even his mother's...Arnav will be placed under the care of the Daityas, no soul of the feminine race is to ever be seen around Arnav, Daityas will watch over him, he shouldn't know of the existence of the female race, Daityas guard Arnav from all evil eyes and see that he doesn't know the love or pleasure that a woman can offer him, that only a lover can give him, anyone who dares to break this rule, they shall face the worst death any soul in this land has ever seen."

Kanika controlled the tears that threatened to spring out from her eyes, her pain as a mother at from losing her son was a grief no one could heal and at that moment she vowed revenge on the girl who had been born because of whom she had lost her little baby, she swore on the evil forces she served that she would never rest until the girl was found and put to death.

20 years later

Dawn was about to break, the dark prince rode his stallion faster than a gale through the thick undergrowth, his face set on his prey, the wind rushing throw his hair, a sleek warrior prince, his eyes hard and cruel, cold bottomless pools that held a hatred against all who threatened to destroy the darkness around him, the prey was getting out his sight, the silver unicorn galloping away from him, the Daityas close on his heels, keeping his guard,

 it wasn't everyday that a Unicorn, a creature that was another symbol of light walked into Death Valley on its free will and yet it had appeared out of nowhere in front of Arnav and he had it marked, the hunt had begun, the Unicorn had to be his…

He wanted to be the one to rip open its heart and draw out its blood, he yearned to watch the blood ooze out and then skin the animal alive, he rode faster now, the landscape grew greener and wilder as he rode deep into the undergrowth, the Daityas lost track of him a white mist enveloped them,

Daityas 

Arnav rode on without a care, and soon he emerged into a bright clearing, the sight that greeted him first was the waterfalls, loud and billowing, flowing down as though a soft caress through the winds,

He watched as the unicorn galloped through the water, there was someone out there among the falls... he could see the faint outline, barely there yet clearly visible to his eyes, and then it turned, slowly walking out from the curtains of the falls, floating through the water, he watched as it slipped down onto a nearby stone boulders and lay itself down on it and thats when...

He saw Her...

An existence never known to him...

An existence he couldn't understand….

An existence that captured his senses live...

An existence so mystical that all sane thoughts left him...

An existence that was weaving a bewitching web around him shutting out the nether world away...

Time stood still and it was just him and her there... 

The Unicorn a silent witness to a meeting that was written down by the Gods themselves as Nysa fell into the hands of the evil...

Her arrival had set the wheels of destiny in motion once again...

FF Let Me Love You - Part 2

Part-2 

Khushi held her violin close as she let her tears fall, she was sitting by her window ledge, playing a slow heart wrenching tune on her violin, flashes from the past whizzing through her mind, he was her only source of happiness, she was playing his favourite tune, something she always played to cheer him up, she remembered their last day together, they had been so happy but it had changed into a nightmare within a matter of minutes, she had been frozen in shock as she watched her father's men shoot him down, her father had held her in his tight grip, muffling her screams as she begged and pleaded with him to spare Rahul, Raj Gupta had taken away all her happiness, Rahul was her only support and now she had lost him too...

Her heart turned into ice as she thought of the man who was her father by birthright, the man who had cruelly controlled her fates, taking away everyone she loved, she knew she was alive only because of her mother's will, how she wished that such a will never existed, if it wasn't to keep her mother's dream alive, she would have happily ended her life...

Her chain of thoughts was broken when the door to her room banged open and Maya walked in...

" oh so you are awake now ??? thats good, now be a smart lady and get yourselves ready for the evening, I guess we will finally be able to get rid of you in a manner thats profitable for you as well us, and mind it Khushi, don't you dare try to mess it up !! We have received a proposal for you as well as for my Payal from the Raizadas, they are a good family, one of the richest in the world, this alliance can be of use to your father, make yourself useful atleast for once to the man who has looked after you so well all these years." 

Khushi stared at her step mother, totally at a loss for words, this woman was the epitome of evil, she was the reason her mother had died and now she was out to ruin her life, Khushi was 100% sure that these Raizadas were another bunch of power hungry obnoxious rich group of people who were possible trying to strike a good deal with her father.

Khushi knew she had to put her foot down...

"I am not meeting anyone, I am not walking into another living hell, Payal can do as she wants but not me and you very well know that you cant force me, either the Raizadas is another version of Guptas and they are trying to strike a deal on me or else they are an innocent lot who doesn't know the reality behind the happy facade that the Guptas parade in front of the society !!! with a playboy as my father, with a prostitute as my step mother and a step sister who is following the footsteps of her mother, I wish the world knew the reality of the Gupta family !!! " Khushi hurled the words at Maya who was seething in pure rage...

Maya walked over and slapped Khushi hard on her face that send her reeling, her lips were bleeding, Khushi laughed out loud, this was nothing new coming from Maya, it was her daily dose !!

As Maya walked out, Khushi steeled her heart, she was determined to get to know the real face of the Raizadas, if they were another version of the Guptas then she knew to which hell she ws destinied and if they were genuinely good people then they will know the truth about her and her family before they walk into this trap.

Back at Raizada Mansion

Alaka and Akash stared open mouthed hearing Arnav , " Khushi Bhabhi " !!!!

Akash looked liked a goldfish, opening and closing his mouth as the ability to speak deserted him, Alaka smiled away happily seeing her brother go head over heels just by seeing Khushi's picture.

Alaka chided him...

"relax bhai, you haven't met Khushi yet, meet her once and then decide whether she is perfect for you or not "

Arnav replied without taking his eyes off the photo...

" its Bhabhi, not just Khushi, don't make me repeat it again and I know she is mine !! "

Alaka burst out laughing, her brother resembled a love sick fool and she knew there was no point arguing, she turned to Akash...

"time to meet your beauty Akash, here you go "

Alaka handed Akash Payal's picture, Modern looking Payal educated and cultured looking, Akash blushed seeing the picture, for starters she didn't look bad,

"she is cute, It wouldn't be a bad idea to meet her " Alaka smiled as he handed the picture back to Alaka,

Alaka ruffled Akash on his head and turned to Arnav and held out her hand for Khushi's picture, Arnav gave her a dismissive smile and pocketed the picture, he bend down and gave Alaka a small peck on her cheek...

"that was for making me meet my princess, for being the best sister to Akash and me, and for being such an amazing daughter to our parents, but I am not giving back the picture, its mine to keep and am sure Maa has already seen Khushi, so its just Papa, when he asks for it, let me know, I will give it to you " saying so  Arnav gave them a tiny wink and left to take a shower.

Alaka hugged a mind boggled Akash and left to her room, a smile dancing on her lips. But it vanished as soon as she was within the confines of her room, the tears that she had been holding back for so long came out again, she went to her bed and opened the bedside cabinet and took out an album, it was filled with pages and pages of picture of Rahul, most of them were with Khushi, her fingers caressing their faces, she glanced at Rahul's violin that was always kept on her cabinet,

" Khushi will find her happiness Rahul, just like how you dreamed for her, Khushi will marry Arnav just like how you wanted her to, your death wont go in vain, the culprits wont be spared, but before that I have to ensure that Khushi is happy in her life, no more pain for her . you must be so happy today Rahul... Bhai fell for Khushi...oopss... Khushi bhabhi at first sight !!! its working out Rahul, just the way we wanted." !!

Lavanya watched with a growing sense of horror as the press conference progressed, her worst fears were confirmed when her photos were splayed across the screens as part of the live news feeds and Alina named her the as the person who planned the entire  scam and her motives behind doing so !!!

Lavanya knew then for once and for all that she was done in for the rest of her  life, the evidence was irrevocably laid out against her, their phone conversations, their meetings, details of the bank payments that she had made etc etc !!

She heard the doorbell ring but she could hardly move her limbs which seemed to have gone into coma, her househelp went to get the door and was shocked to find men and a couple of women in uniforms,

The marched in without a word into the living room where Lavanya was still watching the feeds and she flinched back in horror seeing that police had already arrived...

The lady officers dragged her up and placed her under handcuffs...

" Ms Lavanya Kashyap, you are under arrest for carrying out a fake scam against AR designs and its CEO Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada, thereby  maligning his name as well as his company's reputation "

Lavanya had nothing to say as they took her but the scene was quite different in Shantivan...

The Raizadas were hooked to the live telecast and so was a certain Mr.Jha as he watched in horror at what was about to come, he tried to contact Lavanya but she wasn't answering her phone which certainly wasn't a good omen'.

The Raizadas heaved a sigh of relief as they saw Alina owning up to the scam but was horrified when they realised that Lavanya was the mastermind behind all of it, There was deep sense of pain and hurt mixed with the rage of betrayal, they had all loved Lavanya like a daughter of the house and this was a tragic blow, knowing that she had been all along plotting the destruction of Arnav and Khushi's marriage...

Anjali sensed a growing sense of apprehension,her heart told her that Lavanya wasn't alone in any of this,she whipped around to look at Shyam who was at the moment busy trying to reach Lavanya, he spotted Anjali scrutinizing him and felt it would be safer if he made his exit before any suspicions arose as to his involvement in all this...

But ASR had played his game well, Varun who was at home along with the agents blocked his way out...

"what is it Mr.Jha ?? going somewhere ??? I guess it can wait until Arnav and Khushi comes back !! " Varun said as he blocked Shyam...

"I have to go on an urgent errand Varun,I will be back in sometime  and will meet Saale Sahab and Khushi ji when they come back" said Shyam while he tried to make a quick getaway !!!

Anjali was quick to catch up... "Stop him Varun !! I don't want my ex husband out of my sight now until I get a clearer  picture !!! " she spoke glaring at Shyam !!!

Shyam saw his escape routes closing in from all sides but thats when he found his ticket to freedom, Dia was idling by near to him and he quickly grabbed her and in all the chaos he whipped out the gun he carried with him all the while and placed it on her head...

The Raizadas stood frozen, none of them dared to make a move, they knew that one wrong step from their side and they could loose Dia forever !!!

Shyam sneered at all of them...

"what did you lot think ??? that I would let you all tie me down as easy as that ??? move out of my way and let me go if you want your princess alive, try stopping me and I wont hesitate to put a bullet into this unfortunate creation of my blood !!! "

Anjali couldn't bear the words Dia's own father used on her, it drove a stake through her heart, Varun saw the situation slipping out of his hands, he motioned for the  agents to move out of the way letting Shyam pass, Dia held tight in his throttling arms !!!

Shyam reached the entrance and turned back...his last words to them chilling them in his ice cold venom !!

"I was here to take revenge and revenge I will have Rani Sahiba !!! Saale Sahab will die the worst death possible, I will take Khushiji with me !!!! her babies will see me as their father !!! I wont stop until I have her !!!! "

Shyam hurled Dia into their house and ran away, no one cared about him  getting away, Dia had fallen hard, her head bruised at the fall, Anjali picked her up in her arms in an instant while Varun asked the driver to get the car ready so that they could go to the  hospital !!! Payal and Anjali crying as Nani Mami  and Mamaji tried to get a grip on the situation.

Meanwhile...

Lavanya had been  taken to the Delhi Police Headquaters and as she was brought out, She found Arnav Khushi NK Akash and Pooja waiting for her...

She saw the blood curdling rage in Khushi's eyes as she walked towards her...She came upto her and slapped her hard on her cheeks !!!!

"How could you Lavanyaji ??? I trusted you, I loved you like my own sister, my best friend and this is what you had for me all along !!! you claim to love Arnavji !!! is this your love ??? if you truly loved him, then you wouldn't have spend your days plotting to kill his wife, the mother of his baby !!! you tried to ruin my marriage, you stooped to the lowest levels possible all in the name of revenge !!! Khushi has a heart that can forgive but I wont forgive & forget this time Lavanya !!! I will make sure that you rot behind the bars of your prison cell !!! !!! "

Khushi swayed on the spot, the events of the day taking a toll on her, Arnav was immediately at her side, holding her !!!

He gave Lavanya a look of pure deepest hate and loathing...

"this is why I always kept my distance with you Lavanya !!! I knew you best in my family and there was always something negative about your ways which I could explain yet I could never ignore it !!! I knew you were venomous !!!! I could see that you weren't truly happy about Khushi being in my life !!! you should have accepted it Lavanya, you were never meant for me, I never loved you, I didn't even know what was love until I met Khushi !!! maybe this is why we never were together, there was always an evil serpent  lurking inside you !!!

Accept it Lavanya, I was never yours and  I will never be, Arnav Singh Raizada belongs solely to Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada and you are about to know what happens to the people who try to hurt me and my family !!!! "

Lavanya sneered back...

"you may think that you have won Arnav but you haven't !!! Shyam is still out there and as long as he is there, you will not be able to live  in peace with Khushi !!! you will loose her Arnav !!!! he will kill you and Khushi will see her baby calling Shyam as their father !!! Mark my words Arnav !! it will happen !!! "

Just then NK screamed into the phone...

" what the f**k are you saying Varun ??? where are you all now and how did Shyam get away ?? "

Arnav Akash Khushi and Pooja stood horrorstruck seeing NK loose control !!!

NK slammed the phone as he looked at Arnav...

"Shyam got away, Varun and the others tried stopping him but he used Dia as his bait to get away, he kept her at gunpoint !!! "

Khushi felt her heart constrict hearing about a gun pointed at Dia...

Arnav snarled as his eyes glowered in Rage while Akash felt the blood turning hot in his veins !!!

NK continued in a terrified whisper...

"Dia is injured Nanav !! they are in the hospital now...we need to reach there ASAP !!! "

Arnav was about to move when he felt a sagging weight in his side...

Akash Pooja and NK watched in horror as Khushi slumped unconscious into Arnav's arms !!!

Akash yelled the driver to bring out the car while Pooja and  NK ran to Khushi...Arnav caught her just as she fell, cradling her against his heart...

Her body had gone icy cold and  she was still as a statue...fear choked his hearts and lungs, it was like the air had been sucked out of his body, his sense blinded him !!!

Khushi and Dia, both in danger, Khushi lay as though dead in his arms...everything that happenened next was a blur...

He lifted Khushi into his arms as Akash and NK  opened the doors for him, Pooja right behind him, tears flowing down her face...

Arnav hugged Khushi tight in his arms as he prayed to the unknown gods to make her and Dia alright !!!

They reached the hospital in no time...Anjali Varun  Payal and everyone else wheeled back in terror seeing Khushi lifeless...

 The paramedics rushed her into emergency as Arnav went along with them...his entire being, his soul, his heart, his existence, everything depending on Khushi now !!! 

FF Love In Death Valley - Part 1

Chapter - 1

The night held an aura of deathly calm that even the evil inhabitants of Death Valley were not accustomed to, the invisible guards of the land...the Daityas could feel the uneasiness they shared, something was happening, something out of the usual was happening around them, A ray of light with a purple tinge was sweeping across the night, flashes were seen from time to time and the night creatures were haunted...

Wolves lost their killer scent...

Blood turned to water as soon as the Vampires descended on their would be attackers...

Vultures lost their eye sight...

Owls felt their wings losing strength...

Crystal balls of the Fire witches broke...spilling black smoke from its unseen depths...

Serpents lost their poison tongue...

The men of Nysa moaning in the arms of the wh**es of Ahi had their dreams of ecstasy replaced by visions of unspeakable horror...

Blood flowed through the land...turning into liquid gold on its routes...but none could capture it as it vanished as soon as it was touched...

                                                         

The evil omnipotent of Nysa...Ahi,  his limbs writhed in agony, his vision clouded by scenes of Nysa's lost grandeur...his soul marred by unspeakable acts of evil couldn't stand it….

Thats when a tiny speck of light on the window to his room caught his eyes, he watched with increasing trepidation as it grew brighter, the omens werent good, light from the tiny speck burned his skin, and then he could see it for what it was...

A phoenix of the ancient world of Nysa had appeared once again, as though from the bottomless pits of death, Ahi  watched as his trusted servant Navi, the 10 headed snake rose up to strike the bird down but his smile changed into horror as the phoenix caught Navi in its claws and turned its heads to face Ahi...

The bird hovered over Ahi, Navi's venomous tongue a mere distance away from his right eye, he watched in horror as the bird vised Navi in its claws until its black venom seeped to the tip of its tongue...

Bereft of his powers, his mind devoid of all senses, the bird encompassed his entire being, his eyes screaming in horror as he watched Navi's venom gently dripping down onto his right eye...

The illusion exploded, his mind and body was on fire, agony swept through him as the poison coursed through his right eye, his eyeball melting away, as though being smoked out !!!

The phoenix gave a loud shrill cry that scorched Ahi to the very ends of his soul, Navi fell from its claws and lay dead, its 10 heads had been distorted beyond recognition….

The bird hovered over Ahi and thats when he heard her, a voice from the lost chapters of history, a voice out of long forgotten dreams, it was a voice he knew well, a voice he feared above all, a voice that had the power to haunt his dreams, she had not been heard in a long time and now it was talking to him...she was singing...a slow soothing music...

Music that could take away all the pains of the world yet for Ahi it scorched him...

And then he heard a slow deep cry...it was a baby crying...She was singing to the baby and then she spoke...

"The gods once spoke...when she starts breathing the air of Nysa, light will seep in, the heir of the Navis will die a brutal death and will die without an heir to sustain its race, Ahi the son born of Maya's evil blood sacrifice will loose his right eye from the poison the Navi ...

I am holding her in my arms Ahi,She is an angel and the angel is sleeping now, she is cradled against my bosoms Ahi, the very same place where you had once found comfort and solace, and she is breathing now, every breath she takes will be the building blocks to your downfall...

You cant find her Ahi, She has me to protect her from your evil eyes, Death Valley will see her when the prince of the land comes of age...his soul  scarred by the evil u unleash on him, he will be another child of the night but you will loose him Ahi, you will loose Arnav to her who sleeps in my bosom, his dark soul will be drawn to her...

She is Nysa's only hope, she is born to return Nysa to its ancient beauty and might, Death Valley will be lost to you if you cant stop her, Its my revenge Ahi, the revenge of a broken heart, you used my love as a stepping stone and thrashed me away, Death Valley will soon see the rays Ahi and you wont be able to stop it, Navi lying dead at your feet leaving you blind in your right eye is just the beginning Ahi...

Till we meet again Ahi and hold this with you, She wont be named until his eyes fall on her, its written in the stars that She can only be named by Him... "

The phoenix flew to a distant light shining in a faraway land, Ahi lay on his bed dazed, his strength had left him, his shadow swept over Death Valley...

Arnav lay in the arms of his mother, a happy baby fast asleep, not knowing the horrors that were soon going to land an avalanche into his life...

She lay sleeping...

a beautiful smile on her lips...

the mist covered her haven like a thick blanket...

nature's camouflage protecting her...

Angels watching over her...

Navi - Ahi's faithful servant, his aide in all his evil acts, a serpent in its primal form but can take any form it wants to as it pleases.

The phoenix bird seen here is the symbol of Elissa, hope u havent forgotten her,I had already given her character sketch  just refer to the 1st page in case u wanna know who she is

The dance had just got over and Khushi’s heart was still fluttering like a captured butterfly, waiting to burst out at the earliest, the memories of the dance still fogging her senses....

Intense brown eyes....

His fingers trailing her body with a possessive touch....

His fingers intimately moving across her stomach....

She shook herself open, slapping herself for her wayward thoughts !!!!

“ come on Khushi, don’t kid yourself !!! Laad Governor isn’t in love with you, he was just being the perfect gentleman, your partner didn’t turn up and he regally took the place and made sure your dance is complete. Don’t have your imagination running wild !!! “ Khushi was rambling to herself, lost in her thoughts that she didn’t see the door to her room getting locked !!!

She turned around in a flash as she heard the click of the lock and her eyes widened in horror as her eyes fell on the person !!!

Shyam Jha stood facing her, an ugly smirk playing across the devil’s face....

“ Done be so scared Khushiji !!! I am not going to eat you up “ drawled Shyam as he prowled her...

Khushi panicked...the doors where shut and the poolside door was faraway from where she stood,there was no visible escape route !!!

“you cant make any noise Khushiji, if any of the others come here, Ill simply tell them that you called me here and then it will be you who will get thrown out and your sister’s marriage will break’...

You were beautiful as always Khushiji, your moves are amazing !! but you know what I hate ?? another man touching you !!! you let saale sahab dance with you, you let him touch you but you cant accept my love ???

You know what Khushiji ??? fine if you don’t want me, but in that case I wont let anyone else have you !!! “ sneered Shyam as he closed the distance between them and trapped her  in his arms !!!

Shyam moved in closer to kiss her when he felt s sharp pain in his groin !! Khushi had kicked him hard on his balls making him crumble to the floor , howling like an angry cat as she fled towards the doors !!!

She didn’t see where she was running and collided against a rigid muscular wall, tears flowing down her cheeks, she froze as her eyes were met with a very familiar pair of brown eyes !!!

Arnav Singh Raizada was looking at her, his expression unfathomable, his jaws clenched in fury, his muscles taut from the rage pulsing through his body, venom coursing through his veins, his blood turning into ice !!!

Shyam gasped in shock as he saw his bro-in-law looking at him like he could kill him with a single stare !!!

Arnav turned to Khushi and cupped her cheeks....

“ Why ?? ... Why Khushi ?? Why didn’t you tell me ??  don’t you know that I will protect you no matter what happens ?? “ Arnav asked her, his tone laced with pain that she kept it away from him for so long !!!

Khushi’s eyes widened as she heard his question, she had expected him to doubt her !! throw her out of the house for seducing his bro-in-law but here he was trying to protect her !!! 

She threw herself into his arms, burying her face in the crook of his neck as she wept....and she spilled her heart out....

“ I am sorry Arnavji....I came here to tell Anjali Di but I couldn’t after seeing how much she loved him, he got engaged to me, he fooled me and everyone at home, he was staying with us as a paying guest, I never loved him but I got engaged to him seeing my Bauji’s failing health...and then when I found out his real face, I broke off my engagement !!! I didn’t tell you, I know its wrong but I couldn’t see you or Di in pain !!! I thought he would change !!! “

Arnav hugged her tight in his arms as she told him everything...his heart constricting in pain for all the torture she underwent for him and his Di, furious at the pathetic excuse of a bro-in-law he had !!!

Shyam had meanwhile recovered and headed towards Arnav and Khushi....

He pulled Khushi out of Arnav’s arms and slapped her….

“how dare you Khushiji ??? how can you make such fake stories ?? you are the one who called me into this room and tried to misbehave and now you are making me look like the bad guy ?? “

He turned towards Arnav....

“Saale Sahab don’t believe this girl !! she is a gold digger and she is after you for your money !!! shje is just framing me !! think Saale Sahab, do you think I can cheat on Rani Sahiba and go with Khushiji !! “

As soon as he had finished he felt a heavy fist landing on his face... Arnav had slapped him hard, Shyam wheeled, blood spilling out of his lips !!!

But Arnav didn’t stop, he thrashed him around the room….

“don’t you ever take my Di’s name with your filthy tongue...you cheating bastard !!! and don’t you ever come near my Khushi again !!!!...

Yea you heard me right Shyam Manohar Jha, Khushi is mine !!! I love her and She will live here as my wife, I am giving you one more chance Shyam !!! keep my Di happy and remain faithful to her !!! I will have my men watching on you !!! remember Jha I have my eyes on you !!! its your last chance !!

And this is for the nerve you showed to slap Khushi !!! “ finished Arnav as he kicked him hard on his shins !!! throwing him off balance !!!

“Remember to stay miles away from Khushi because she is mine !!! “

Arnav turned to Khushi who ran into his arms.....he lifted her face and wiped her tears away, smiling at her....

“no more tears Khushi, you are mine now and will always be the love of my life, my wife forever “ declared Arnav as he took her lips in a passionate kiss, thereby starting their love saga while Shyam was left in the backdrop seething in rage !!!

Arnav turned towards his Jeejaji, breaking away from the kiss slightly...

“do you mind leaving our room Jeeju !!! you see its our first kiss and we would love some privacy !!! and oh yaaa please do inform everyone downstairs that we wont be around for sometime, I need some time alone with my girl !!! “ drawled Arnav as he pointed Shyam to the door, who left the room blinded by pain and rage....

Arnav kicked the door shut, locking it behind him and drawing the curtains, picking up Khushi in his arms while she buried herself into his chest, her heart overwhelmed by the sudden change in her life....at the unexpected happiness that had dropped into her life, her heart fluttering like a butterfly as they finally confessed their love for each other.
