FF Our 9 months - Prologue

Arnav sat down on his recliner after a tiring day at work...the air in his room smelled fresh and pure...her fragrance filled the air and he inhaled deeply and felt all the stress leaving his mind and body...2 years had passed since their contract marriage and Arnav still couldn't believe that  he was the same man who had frowned upon love and marriage'Khushi had altered him completely...everything in his life today held the essence of love.suddenly the bells  chimmed and he felt her prescence in the room.


Khushi always felt a sense of pride and elation as she gazed upon her husband...to think that this Zeus like person...this demi-god was her man...she always felt that her life  had turned into  a Mills&Boons story since she met ASR or her Arnav.and today she was going to make him the happiest man who ever lived !!!
"Arnav" called Khushi as she gently placed her  hand on his forhead...he exhaled at her touch...he slowly  opened his eyes and stared at the angel in front of him...she looked beautiful in her maroon salwar...but he noticed  a difference...there was a different glow to her face today...she looked profoundly serene and calm...it was as though the child in her had altered into a woman who carried with her a secret.he got up and walked with her to their bed.he made her sit there and himself lied down on her lap and hugged her around her waist.he waited for her to speak since he knew there was something she had to tell him and he knew it was  going to make him  happy.Khushi stroked his hair and pursed her lips choosing her next words with special care since she wanted them to be magical.she made him sit up and wrapped herself around him.she took his hand and placed it on her heart...they both could feel their hearts beating in unison. And then she spoke


"our hearts beat in unison because our love for each other knows no boundaries..even the air around us is filled with our love...as our hearts became one so did our bodies...and now our love is going to be immortalised in another soul...9 months hence you  will behold a being..a creation part yours and part mine...a symbol of our love who will carry our lovestory into the future even after our time has gone by for ages to come  !!!"


Arnav was silent throughout...Khushi waited for him letting him take his time...she could hear it building in his heart...it was as though his heart might explode with joy...words failed him...movement deserted him...he felt numb and then the first expression of his joy materialised in the form of a lone tear that escaped his eyes and fell on Khushi's palms...she looked up and saw  and  read everything he felt in his eyes...she hugged him tightly and felt his hands go around her crushing her to his heart...she had become infinitely precious to him...then he spoke his first words "Khushi I love U "...he held onto her and cried...he was  going to be a father to khushi's baby...his angel had given him all he could have asked of her.then he lifted her face and held it level with his...he kissed her once on her forhead...then he kissed away her tears and then he slowly claimed her lips...it was a kiss that spoke volumes...their love passion desire commitment and loyalty  to the other and most of all it asserted the fact that they belonged to each other completely !!!


Arnav swore to himself that he would make her pregnancy..wait...he corrected himself our pregnancy (since it was as much his as it was hers) magical !!!...he then uttered the next few lines in Khushi's ears just for her ears and her heart lest the air catch the words and blow it around..."I promise to stay with you throughout the next 9 months...attending to your every single whims and fancies...I want to enjoy this pregnancy with you and then relate it to our baby when he or she grows up...I want these 9 months to be inked into our hearts and etched into our minds as the most beautiful time of our lives..I will be with you as you bear the pains of this period and I pray that your pains pass onto me...I know it is not possible and even if I cant take your pain away I will be with you sharing in your pain as much as in your joy...I love u Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada and I love our baby"


Khushi's face was damp with tears as she listened to him...she couldn't believe it was the same ASR whom she had first met...she hugged him close knowing that she had nothing to fear as long as he was there with her...she knew that his love for him will never fade and now she was going to give birth to something that was partly his...her heart swelled with pride at this thought...and she closed her eyes knowing that her life was indeed a fairytale and that the next nine months were going to be the most beautiful phase in her...she would prepare herself for motherhood and its infinite joys and prepare him too for the next phase of their life.with these thoughts in mind Mr and Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada got up and went downstairs to give the happy news to the rest of the Raizadas
