Arnav was driving Khushi to the hospital...his hand was holding hers tightly...appointments with the doctor always scared her...constantly worried about their baby's health...Arnav gave her a reassuring squeeze and gave her a light peck on her cheek...
"don't  worry  Khushi...its going to be fine...after all ASR's princess can never be unhealthy...am sure my lil one is going to 100% fit and healthy and is going to give u a lot of trouble...think about it jaan...u are going to have double trouble taking care  of both of us"...Arnav said with a devilish grin on his  face...Khushi laughed thinking how much her husband had changed and how he made sure to allay all her fears when it came to their lil princess when he himself was worrying about the pair of them.
Arnav and Khushi were with the doctor...Khushi was silent throughout the checkup...the doctor understood her tension and calmed her down...
"Mrs.Raizada...I understand your apprehensions since this is your first pregnancy...most couples go through  this phase in their pregnancy but there is nothing to worry...both the mother and the baby are healthy as of now...just keep taking your medicines on time...Arnav make sure she takes proper meals and she takes rest...Khushi don't stress yourself with unnecessary tensions or thoughts...remain happy and cheerful"...Khushi's tensions eased a bit hearing the doctor's words...they thanked the doctor who said she would inform Arnav about their next appointment and left her cabin...Arnav had planned to take Khushi out on a lunch date following the appointment when he froze on his tracks...Khushi who was busy chattering away didn't notice that Arnav was not with her until she was at the hospital exit...she looked for Arnav  and saw him with someone but she couldn't see the person's face since his back was turned towards her...but something about the person's posture  was disquietingly familiar to her and as she neared Arnav...she felt a chill creep down her spine...fear coursed through her veins as the person's identity dawned on her...even after 2 years coming face to face with the man who had almost destroyed everything that she loved sent chills through Khushi...pure venom  seethed through Arnav on seeing Shyam smile at him...Shyam who was at the hospital visiting a friend was as surprised as Arnav on seeing him there and also a little panicky...he had not planned on running into Arnav in such a manner...his meeting with Arnav had been orchestrated in a much more dangerous manner in his mind but what he didn't know was that Arnav was onto him !!!!

Arnav didn't want Khushi meeting Shyam…he knew she would stress herself but seeing that he had no option since Khushi was right behind Shyam...he held out his hand for her to hold...Khushi held his hand...fear written all over her face...she was shivering as she held onto her husband...Shyam smiled on seeing Khushi...he was drinking  in her beauty...his malicious eyes roaming on her curvaceous figure...pregnancy seemed to be suiting Khushi really well...there was a rosy bloom on her facial features that didn't go unnoticed but he knew he couldn't complement her without giving  it away to her that he was targeting her happiness !!!...but he didn't want to loose this opportunity to speak to her !!!!!!
"Khushiji...Arnav...its so good to see u both after so long...I can see  your hatred for me in your eyes...I would be a fool to think otherwise...I know what I have done is something that cant be forgiven...Arnav I know u wont forgive me so easily but am still asking for it...pls give me another chance...I know I have been a cheat to Anjali but I realise my mistakes now...I know I have hurt all of U immensely but  I want to make it up now...pls Arnav atleast think of Dia...I want to see my daughter Arnav...I want to give her  a father's love which she has been denied...I know u will never let her feel my abscence but still...am her father Arnav and I have a right to be with her...Khushiji pls...think about it...am not pushing both of u to take a decision as of now but do think about it...and pls contact me if u change your minds...I promise that I will keep Anjali and Dia  happy for the rest of my life "
Saying this Shyam turned around and left...a gloating smile on his face...he thanked gods for giving him such an opportunity to earn his way back to the Raizadas...if he could win over Arnav and Khushi then he would never have to work from the outside...he could plot his ways by staying with the family...making sure that he destroyed them in a manner from which they would never recover !!!!

Khushi couldn't believe her own ears...she felt that her ears and eyes were playing tricks  on her...she didn't know whether to believe Shyam or not...he really seemed to have changed...she looked at Arnav who looked like he might explode any minute...Khushi felt weak in her knees...she felt herself drifting as everything around her went black !!!!
Arnav caught her  just as she was about to hit the hospital  floors...the staff seeing Khushi faint immediately called the doctor and had her  transferred into observation...Arnav felt the ground slipping beneath him as he saw his life being taken away from him...he swore to himself that he would kill Shyam if anything happened to Khushi or their baby !!!!...meanwhile NK and Akash were worried that Arnav had not called them after the checkup...Arnav had told them he would be taking Khushi out for lunch but had assured them that he would call them once the checkup was done but now it had been a long time and Arnav wasn't answering the phone…they decided to check at the hospital before informing the family !!!!
