Arnav listened...each word that escaped Khushi's lips set his world reeling again...he felt as though the floor was slipping beneath his feet and the only feeling that kept him grounded to the ugly truth in their life was Khushi's head on his lap...he couldnt ignore the irony of the situation...just as he had decided to give his love a chance fate had again struck a fatal blow...he couldnt fathom as to why the most important women in his life always fell prey to cheating scums...first it was his mother and now it was his sister and yet again another innocent woman...only this time the innocent woman was his woman...it was the girl he had given his heart to who had been betrayed...
but what troubled him more now was Khushi's pain...he could feel her tears flowing...he couldnt imagine the pain she had undergone to keep his Di's marriage intact...Khushi had done so much for his Di even when she had no obligation to do it...if anything...his love for her only increased !!
Khushi felt his grip on her go rigid...she was scared to see his reaction...she didnt have the strength to face his venom...she wouldnt be able to bear the hatred from him...now that she knew how much he loved her...She got up from his lap...without looking at him...she turned away and started walking away...but she hadnt taken 2 steps ahead when she felt his grip on her hand...
Arnav had had enough...he wasnt going to let Khushi suffer for what his evil filth of a brother-in-law did...he wasnt going to let Shyam Manohar Jha get away after playing with his sister who had raised him like her own son...he wasnt going to let the creep walk free after what he dared to do to his Khushi !!!
he slowly turned her around...their eyes met...Arnav couldnt bear the tears in her eyes...he couldnt stand her the fear that she felt...the fear that she might loose him...the fear that he might hate her...he knew he had to quell all her fears once and for all...
Khushi watched him as he gently pulled her into his arms...and before she knew he had cupped her face in his hands and brought her lips tantalisingly close to his and before she could figure what was happening...she felt his lips pressing down on hers...her hands circled around his neck...slipping into his soft tufts of hair...she let herself drown in that magical moment...for Arnav it was his salvation...
he wanted to put all his emotions into that single kiss...his promises to always take care of her...his love...care...passion...his need...he kissed her hard...and his heart did a spring dance when he felt Khushi reciprocating...hugging him tighter in her arms...
they broke apart after what like ages...they both were smiling...Khushi had tears in her eyes...Arnav could see that this time it was tears of happiness but still he hated her tears...and so he kissed them away...Khushi buried herself in his chest...snuggling into the crook of his neck...
Arnav: Khushi from today...from this very second...u will always have me in your life...and no one will dare to hurt u again...I love u Khushi...and about Shyam...well he is not goin to know what hit him..lets go downstairs Khushi...I guess I have to tell my family that they have to get ready for another marriage...
Khushi gave a tiny gasp as she heard Arnav mention their marriage...she never expected him to talk about Shaadi so soon...she knew he didnt believe in rituals yet he was talking about shaadi...it was as though the gods had answered all her prayers in one go...and before she could regain herself...she saw Arnav kneeling down in front of her...
Arnav: Khushi Kumari Gupta...will u do the honour of accepting Arnav Singh Raizada as your husband...your lover...your partner and your soulmate not just for this life...but for our next 7 lives !!!
Khushi nodded smiling...the rosy red blush that crept into her cheeks making her blush like a shy bride...Arnav couldnt help laughing seeing her blush...he felt so happy...happy as he had never felt in his life before...he couldnt wait to bring her home as his girl !!! he didnt want to stay away from her any longer...he hugged her in his arms...drowning himself in her flowery fragrance...forgetting all the pain in the world !!!
Khushi: lets go downstairs Arnavji...dont u think its time for us to tell our families
Arnav: whats the rush Khushi...I could keep u here with me as long as I want...what if I refuse to let u go away from me even for a single second now...who is going to stop me ??
Khushi couldnt help laughing seeing his mischief...they turned around to leave...thats when they saw a shocked Shyam Manohar Jha who looked as though he had been struck dumb...Shyam had witnessed their confession...Khushi paled...shrinking behind Arnav who had immediately gone rigid...anger coursed through him...all he wanted to do was throw him out of their lives...but he decided to kill Shyam in his own sweet time...he wanted to see the creep bleed to his death...he wanted to see Shyam begging for his own death...
Arnav: whats wrong Jeejaji...I see that u have seen our confession... waise am glad u have seen it with your eyes...am warning u Shyam Manohar Jha...stay away from my girl...coz Khushi belongs to Arnav...only Arnav...and as for u...wait and see how I rip u apart if u dare to mess with my family again !! this is your last chance...amend your mistakes...and keep my Di happy coz I will be watching over yoy...anymore games from your side and trust me when I say this...U will be finished !!!
Arnav turned and smiled at Khushi...holding out his hand for hers which she gladly took...and they walked downstairs...towards their families...to tell them that they belonged to each other...
let Shyam Manohar Jha try all the tricks in his armour but Arnav & Khushi truly belonged to each other now !!!
their love was difficult but not ill fated and now after all the trials they were finally one...where they truly belonged to each other...in their happy place.
