FF Our 9 Months - Part 33

The days passed in bliss for Arnav and Khushi, since their marriage, this was the first time they had ever stayed away from their family and though they were missing their family, they were enjoying their time alone with each other ... and today was a special day for both of them, they were going to thenearby hospital where Arnav had arranged for Khushi's medical checkups in consultation with the help of their doctor back home, they were both going for their baby's sonography, Khushi was determined that she didn't want to know the sex of her baby, girl or boy .. all she cared about was the fact that it was the symbol of the love Arnav had for her, they had for each other .. meanwhile Arnav 's heart secretly wished for it to be a girl who would be as beautiful as his Khushi. But eventually Arnav had given in, if Khushi didn't want to know the sex of their baby then he too was ready to wait but they had wanted to see their baby once, hear its heart beat once and so they had decided to go in for it.

And so Arnav led Khushi into the doctor's room, a middle aged lady with a warm kind smile on her face, Arnav watched as the doctor went through Khushi's reports and then examined her personally, all the while Arnav hovered over the doctor in his typical ASR style, the doctor had a small smile as she saw Arnav fussing over Khushi and Khushi trying to relax him, it was not everyday that she got to see a genuine happily married in love couple.

And soon it was time for their scan,  Arnav held Khushi's hand tightly in his while the doctor got Khushi settled and soon they could see it, the image may not have been clear but still they watched , totally stunned, the feeling that they both could only feel, could never explain it but they both felt it and thats when they heard something that shocked the hell out of them ..

"Congrats Mr and Mrs.Raizada, you are having triplets " !! 

Arnav and Khushi froze, no words left them, the doctor saw their stunned expression, she knew they would need time to digest this new piece of information, she left them so that they could have sometime alone. 

"What did the doctor just say ?? 3 babies, am carrying 3 babies inside me !! Arnav please tell me that I am dreaming, this is a joke right ?? me a mother of 3 babies !! "asked Khushi as she gripped Arnav's hands tightly 

Arnav looked at her dumbfounded expression, he was equally shocked, ASR going to be father of 3 kids was a real shocker, but as the shock started leaving, the infamous ASR smirk returned to his face, and so it had happened here as well, just like his deals where he always reaped double or triple the profits that was normal for others, in his personal life also he had hitjackpot !! 

To Khushi's utter amazement Arnav gave a sudden punch to the air as he burst out laughing, he couldn't imagine the sight of his Khushi who was a kid herself holding 3 babies at once !! 

"Arnav What the " but before Khushi could complete Arnav had her crushed in a rib cracking hug , he broke out from the hug and cupped her face ... 

"I am so freaking happy today Khushi, can you imagine ??? 3 lil bundle of joys in our lives all at once !! Can you imagine life being more perfect ??? I love you so much Khushi , so much that I cant even tell you what you and our babies mean to me ... I am going to have to take a long vacation from work !! 3 babies...I don't want to miss out on any of the fun and I am not going to let you alone to take care of them all alone, I will be there Khushi and we will do it together !! "

Khushi felt herself breaking out into visions of a beautiful future with her husband and 3 beautiful angels, she laughed as she saw the child-like enthusiasm of the mighty ASR, if only his employees could see him now, they would never believe that their angry boss ASR could be the carefree loving Arnav which he was only  for her.

" I am very happy Arnav, we were expecting a single blessing but Devi Maiyya blessed us with 3 beautiful angels, our symbol of love , in the form of 3 babies, I love you Arnav " Khushi said as Arnav watched her, his heart brimming with love and without thinking further, he took her lips in his for an emotionally mind numbing kiss.

A few minutes later, a very happy Arnav & Khushi were siiting in front of the doctor, their faces shining with their heartfelt happiness but the doctor was a little tensed, Khushi's health was fine but she wasn't strong and this pregnancy could really take a toll on her ' 

" Mrs.Raizada, I can see that you and your husband are very happy about your pregnancy but I have something serious to tell you, your health is fine but you aren't perfectly fit, you have undergone a lot of stress during your pregnancy and also giving birth to triplets isn't easy, giving birth to a single baby is in itself a huge task, 3 babies, its definitely going to take a toll on you and so you need to be extra careful, you cant afford any mishaps from your side, complete bedrest from now on since you are nearing your final stages of pregnancy, have healthy food and keep your happy and stress free. A single mis-step from your side, and it can affect either or both the mother and the babies. " 

Arnav felt an odd chill creeping into his heart as he heard the doctor, a few minutes back he was the happiest man in the world but knowing that this happy news was putting Khushi's health in danger, it unsettled him, no matter for what it was, he couldn't stand the thought of anything happening to his wife. The doctor could see his tensed expression, Khushi knew Arnav was panicking , she squeezed his hand tightly in hers, her eyes gently re-assuring him that it was all going to be fine. 

The doctor tried to lighten the situation... 

"Relax Mr.Raizada, I am just saying the basic precautions for mothers who are expecting more than a single baby, pregnancy is a delicate time and you have to be more careful if the mother is carrying more than one baby, there is nothing to worry about. " 

Arnav slightly relaxed as he heard the doctor but the fear was still inside him.. they thanked the doctor and took her leave, both of them happy but Khushi could sense the fear brimming inside him, she knew she would have  to deal with him once they reached home, she slipped her fingers softly through his and held it tight as they walked out, the drive back home was quiet, Arnav was still deeply lost in his thoughts.

They reached home and there was another surprise waiting for them at home, they got out of the car and turned around to see their whole family waiting to greet them !! 

All of them were there, Nani Mami Mamaji Akash NK Payal Anjali Dia Pooja Varun Buaji Amma and Bauji, all of them had their best smiles ready to greet their sweethearts whom they had missed for so long and before they knew it, they were surrounded by their family who was hugging them tight.

It was a happy reunion and the entire bunch was soon sitting inside, happily chatting away, Khushi was surrounded by the ladies who were all asking her about her health and wellbeing, in between they left no stone unturned to tease the hell out of Arnav & Khushi and their babymoon.

Meanwhile Dia who was happily sitting in arnav's lap suddenly got down and went towards Khushi who smiled at her and was about to lift her up into her lap, but arnav immediately walked over and picked up Dia into his arms and sat next to Khushi ' 

"please Khushi... no stress for you , I will hold Dia and you both can play with each other " said Arnav as he looked at her with pleading eyes. Khushi seeing the fear in his eyes, silently nodded as she started playing with Dia, the rest of the family were puzzled by Arnav's behavior, they couldn't understand why he was so tensed, seeing Khushi not fighting back startled them more , Anjali decided to ask him but what happened next shocked her ' 

Dia who wanted to sit in Khushi's lap tried her best to squirm out of his hands and in the process her hands hit  the side of Khushi's tummy, though it had not hurt her at all, Arnav panicked .. he immediately took Dia away and handed her back to Anjali, his eyes burning in anger... 

"Di keep her away from Khushi for sometime please, she is not at an age where she can understand how delicate Khushi is right now and I am not going to let her prance around Khushi and cause any harm and all of you be careful around Khushi !! " 

Anjali and the others including Khushi were shell-shocked, Dia who saw Arnav screaming at Anjali for the first time started crying, they had never seen Arnav loose his cool with Dia or talk about her so rudely, Varun for some reason couldn't stand it ' 

"what the hell is wrong with you Arnav ?? Dia is just a baby and she doesn't know what is happening around her ' Khushi isn't hurt at all then why are you acting so touchy , how can you shout on a baby !! " 

Arnav felt his tempers sky rocketing, 

"exactly Varun !! no one here knows whats happening ... and I am not going to take any chance when it comes to Khushi , I am not going to let anything happen around her, small or big that might cause a chance of me loosing her !! " 

Varun was not one to back down ... 

" if no one knows anything then help everyone to understand what the f**king hell is wrong with you, going by what I can see, Khushi is absolutely fine but you definitely aren't fine Arnav !! so spit it out !! "

Khushi tried to get in between but Arnav didn't let her get up, she knew what was the fear that was making Arnav so angry , she wanted to calm him but he wasn't ready to listen to her... 

"Varun, no husband in the world would be calm when he comes to know that is wife is having a delicate pregnancy and that the mother or the babies are in danger in case any kind of mishap happens !! and I definitely don't want to loose my wife at any cost !! " 

A shocked silence greeted Arnav's words, Arnav sank back next to Khushi as he hugged her close .. Khushi held him close in her arms as he held onto her tight, life she was his lifeline... Anjali was the first one to reach out to him... she handed over Dia to Varun who was standing next to her...

"what is it chottey ?? 

what the hell was that supposed to mean ?? 

what do you mean delicate pregnancy ?? " 

Khushi intervened before Arnav made the situation more scary...

"Di , everyone, pls relax, its not like how you all think, Arnav is worried but its not like how you all think, we went for a sonography today, we have actually some good news to share, the doctor told us we are expecting triplets !! " 

" WHAT " 

All the family screamed together, the shock of the situation setting in and giving way to tumultuous celebrations !! all around them everyone cheered and hugged Khushi but Arnav remained tightlipped, when the celebrations have subsided Arnav spoke ... 

"Khushi why don't you tell everyone the bad news now ?? " 

Khushi looked at Arnav, she could see the fear taking a toll on him and she would have to assure him later when they were alone but now they had to deal with the family... she turned to the others who were waiting for her to speak...

"the thing is that, since we are having 3 babies, I have to be extra careful now, the doctor says that my health is fine but not 100% fit, and 3 babies can take a toll at times, if anything wrong happens because of any kind of mishap , then it can cause harm to me or the babies or maybe even both. Di I am sorry Arnav spoke that way about Dia, he didn't mean it, he has been worried about me ever since coming back from our checkup " 

Varun felt his heart melting when he heard Khushi, now they knew why Arnav was so upset, they could understand the fear in his eyes, he looked at Khushi who was calmer than Arnav but he could see that she was also apprehensive...

Varun went to Arnav and was about to talk to him when Arnav got up all of a sudden and walked away, his eyes were red , Khushi called out to him but he didn't turn back but headed straight for their room, Khushi looked at the others who looked completely at a loss of what to say, they were all happy about the news but knowing that Khushi's health was at risk was causing them worry as well...

" I am going to Arnav, don't worry Di, he will be fine and all of you please don't taken tension thinking about my health, I am going to be absolutely fine, the doctor was just asking me to be careful, nothing more than that " spoke Khushi as she gently hugged Anjali and went upstairs to talk to Arnav.

Meanwhile in a faraway place, Shyam let out a triumphant shout of mirth, as he got all the documents ready, finally he had his trumpcard, something that would make Khushi hate Arnav forever and come running into his arms while she left her husband whom she loves so much.

"Hide all you want Saale Saab but these documents will reach your Khushi soon and then let me see how you make her stay .. she will come to me Saal Saab, and we will live together while you will continue to exist with the knowledge that your love hates you "
