FF Love In Death Valley - Part 7

Khushi led Arnav through a thicket of overgrown deeply rooted gigantic trees, trees that appeared to be talking amongst themselves, watching the love birds as they passed. Soon Khushi stood at a clearing where a curtain of green seemed to be blocking their path, green creepers that seemed to extend all around blocking them from the outside view, Khushi paused and closed her eyes, she slowly passed her fingers through the fold, her other hand holding Arnav tight, 

and then she walked right through the growth of creepers as though it was nothing but a piece of cloth, and Arnav found himself standing at the base of a stairway that seemed to lead right up to the skies.

Khushi smiled at him as she began climbing the stairs, Arnav following her, and soon they came out into a clearing, a door stood ajar for them, the entire place was bathed in light and 

Arnav had to shield his eyes from the blinding light which his eyes weren't accustomed to since he had spend most of life growing up in darkness, what Arnav didn't know was that Elissa's power was protecting him from getting scorched, if otherwise any inhabitant of Death Valley, if they by chance happened to enter this place, they would be immediately scorched and burnt down by the light that their body was never used to.

When Arnav walked in,  Khushi led him into a room that was unlike any other he had ever seen, words left him, maybe this is what heaven looked like, straight out of a dream ... they were surrounded by the beauty of nature from all sides yet Arnav was sure that he was in  a room. Khushi meanwhile slightly raised her voice and called out 2 names...

"Elissa " " Dayeus "

" Arnav is here "

From the corner, what Arnav had thought to be a wall of flowers, 

it parted and in walked a man , well not any ordinary man, he had to be one of the most handsome men Arnav had ever met, he smiled as he walked upto Khushi and caught her in a tight hug, hot blood rushed upto his nerves as he saw the man twirling Khushi around who was looking positively delighted, slowly she was kept down and much to Arnav's fury the man pecked Khushi on her forhead who in return kissed him on both her cheeks.

The pair turned around to see Arnav watching them with eyes gone red with fury, dayeus smiled seeing the depth of Arnav's possessiveness for Khushi in so short a time, Khushi meanwhile knew she had to calm down Arnav or else things were going to escalate out of her hands but she saw Dayeus's naughty glint and smiled as she let him play his game...

Dayeus pulled Khushi to his side, holding her against him as he smiled at Arnav..

"welcome Arnav, the dark prince of Death Valley, I understand this is your first time here, wont you pay respects to the people you have come to meet ??? and I hope you are keeping my princess here happy, mark my words Arnav ... hurt her and that will be the last thing you ever do !! "

Arnav was by now boiling in rage, a volcanic  eruption threatening to spill from his body, the man standing before him called his Khushi ... princess... he was holding her and Khushi didn't seemed to be having any problems !!

He was about to lash out at her when suddenly something stopped him... He remembered everything Khushi had told him..

about her love for him...                                                  

about how she was born for him...

how there were different kinds of relations amongst humans that were all different shades of love...

Arnav in his heart trusted Khushi to never betray him...

He had promised her that he would love her and trust her...

If Khushi was happy with this man standing in front of him then he definitely was someone who was important to Khushi... an important relation in her life...

Arnav decided to place his trust in Khushi rather than let his rage win over his heart whose existence he had discovered ever since Khushi had come into his life.

He was a man who had not known any other emotion other than that of hate and fury but now he felt a rainbow of emotions that was bringing him a lot of happiness.

Dayeus could read the multitude of thoughts running in Arnav , he was gifted with the art of mind reading and what he read made him proud. Khushi's love had passed his first test.

This was Dayeus's first test for Arnav ...

Test to prove his love and trust in Khushi and he had passed it beyond expectations.

To Arnav's astonishment, the man's face broke into a brilliant smile as he walked forward and hugged Arnav , crushing him in his arms. Arnav stood stunned for a moment before he reciprocated the hug.

Dayeus pulled back ...

"I am so happy to meet you son, do not fear, you are in a place where there is no darkness, you are here to learn one of the most beautiful emotions that mankind has been blessed to experience, you are here to know your own history and the future that awaits you and Khushi.

I have seen you both grow up in front of my eyes, I have watched your past and present very closely Arnav, I have known of the different ways your lives are to entwined even before Khushi walked into your life,

Arnav I am the knight of Nysa who has been sworn in by the Gods themselves to protect you and Khushi from all the evil that surrounds you.

Arnav I have watched you, I have always been around you as you grew up, I know you weren't aware of my presence but that's because it wasn't time then for you to meet me.

If the evil eyes around you had ever come across to detect my presence around you, they wouldn't have hesitated to kill you either and I couldn't let that happen !!

And today you have passed your first test in front of me, my test for your love and trust in Khushi, I could see that my closeness to Khushi was bothering you.

You were jealous'

Your possessiveness was blinding your heart'

You were about to lash out'

Bit you controlled your emotions'

You remembered everything that Khushi had taught you'

Your heart decided to trust her rather than let your rage blind your faith in your love.

Your heart and soul is already coming out from the claws of evil that have so long kept you captive in the darkness of Death Valley.

You have truly earned your right to know your history and what awaits you in your future and you have earned the right to meet a special someone not many have been blessed to meet in the past few centuries.

A person who is widely loved and eternally feared.

Come along Son, its time you met Elissa "

Khushi smiled , she was feeling thrilled hearing what Dayeus had read in Arnav's mind, she was delighted to know that her love was already healing Arnav, smiling she slipped her fingers through Arnav's who clasped hers tight in his as they made their way to meet Elissa.

Arnav was led into a beautiful garden, a place more beautiful than anything that he had ever seen, with Khushi, Arnav was coming a lot of special sights but this had to be truly the most beautiful and serene place he had ever visited.

And there right in the center of the garden, surrounded by an array of the most beautiful birds that Arnav had ever seen , sat a woman of such breathtaking brilliance, that Arnav for a moment felt that he had walked straight into a dream.

Here was a woman who looked like a Goddess descended from the heavens...

A woman who at the same time awed Arnav as well as made him feel a slight tremor of fear and respect as he looked into her eyes...

He felt exposed and bare in front of her, like nothing about him could ever be hidden, like she could read him like an open book...

His feelings... emotions...fears... dreams...everything exposed and bare.

The woman smiled at him, one of her breathtaking smiles ...

Khushi could thoroughly understand the tumultuous array of feelings coursing through Arnav, it was something that anybody meeting Elissa for the first time would always meet, but Khushi was secretly happy because this was once again an unknown test to Arnav...

Anyone who meets Elissa, its her reaction to them that tells if the person standing in front of them is a pure soul, and Khushi saw Elissa smiling at Arnav like she had never smiled in ages...

She knew Elissa had accepted Arnav already in her heart...

And then to everyone's utter astonishment, Arnav did something that had not been seen in centuries...

Something thats done only by the ones who could see Elissa in her entire glory and beauty...

Something thats done by people who could clearly see her for the powerful earthy and divine soul that she is...

Something that hasn't been done since Dayeus did it last.

He went forward and kneeled down in front of Elissa and gently took her hand that was invitingly held out for him to take and placed a chaste kiss on her hand and he looked at her, his green eyes looking deep into her black clear as the night sky pools...
