FF Our 9 Months - Part 44

It was the day of homecoming for the Raizadas, the entire house had been decorated to welcome the three angels of their family, Arnav had called a while back to inform that he was enroute to their home along with Khushi and their kids, Payal and Akash had gone along to help them bring the kids home.

Fairy lights had been hung up all around the house, lanterns floated all around the house which was a surprise by Varun, the nursery had been decorated specially and personally by Anjali Pooja and NK, the HP brothers were about the entire day making sure every nook and corner was spotlessly clean, Naniji , Mamiji and Mamaji were busy along with the Guptas  with the preparations for the Havan being kept for the kids but if the excitement inside the house was reaching a fever pitch then the excitement of the media waiting outside was turning into a frenzy , every page 3 journalist was outside to snap an exclusive of Mr & Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada's triplets, the heirs of the world's leading fashion brand.

Arnav knowing and anticipating the media didnt give them a chance to block their way as he drove straight through the crowd and right into the garage as the security shut down all the gates. Arnav got out and moved to the other door , he opened it and took a sleeping Adi into his arms as Khushi held Avni and Payal held Advay, Akash ushered them in, their smiles as wide as it could be.

As soon as they reached the door, Payal placed Advay into Khushi's arms along with Avni with Arnav standing close by with Adi, Payal and Akash then stepped aside as Nani opened the door to welcome her grandson grand daughter and her great grandkids, for her , this was a truly proud moment as the Raizada Matriarch, Dia squirmed excitedly in Anjali's arms as she tried to reach out to the Arnav and Khushi, eager to see the babies just like the others.

Nani did the Aarti and applied the tika on the babies and then Arnav and Khushi, the Guptas and the Raizada elders were ready to descend on the babaies when Varun stopped them and turned to Arnav,

" guys why don't you both dispatch the media first ???

The crazies wont leave until they get what they came for and if they don't get a glimpse of the babies today then they are going to hound you wherever you go, so just let them get a picture and then we can issue an official statement asking the press to keep away. "

Arnav knew that Varun was right so he took Avni in his arms and Advay and Adi in Khushi's because he was still too terrified to hold 2 kids together at once, it was with great fear that he held even one of them, they were just too tiny that he was scared he might drop them, if he could help it, he still preferred holding them in Khushi's arms.

Arnav and Khushi walked out onto the Raizada balcony to greet the throng of media and posed for pictures , their smiles echoing the happiness of their hearts, for the media it was a moment of awe to see the once ruthless business tycoon play an absolute family man , a doting husband and an adoring father and the triplets, like how everything was special about the name Raizada , even the little ones looked angelic.

As soon as they had entertained the media, they waved one last time and left the place as Aman was ready at hand to give out the statement issued by Arnav himself regarding the privacy of his wife and family, according to the statement , the press or for that matter, freelancers and even the public weren't allowed to snap the Raizadas or write anything personal about them without prior approval from Arnav or anyone within the family and if this was violated then they would be sued for harassment and invasion of privacy by the AR law firm.

Inside the havan had started and the entire family prayed for the happiness of the babies and their parents, but to a far away onlooker, it wasnt just about one family, Akash and Payal happily married as ever, Pooja and NK ready to take their relation to the next level but the surprise was Anjali, she was seated next to Varun who had Dia on his help, they already looked like the picture perfect family.

The Gupta & Raizada elders prayed for the happiness of their children and as soon as the Havan was over and the blessings were given, the Panditji left after informing them that he would soon find a suitable date for the naming ceremony. And then it was time to play with the angels.

Arnav & Khushi sat together and watched as their family kissed and cuddled the little tykes who were either sleeping or enjoying the attention, the way the family fawned over them, it was sure that these little ones would grow up to be the most pampered brats ever.

But as they watched, they felt a small hand tugging on their hands and looked down to see Dia watching them with an annoyed expression, Khushi immediately picked her into her arms and asked her what happened to which Dia looked wistfully in the direction of the babies, Arnav immediately understood what she wanted and got up to fulfil her wish, as Khushi settled Dia on the sofa , well if Dia had a wish then it was the law for the rest in the house, she was after all their first born.

Arnav walked upto Pooja who was cuddling Avni and asked her if he could take her to which Pooja happily obliged and as everyone watched he took Avni and gently placed her on Dia little lap as Khushi helped her to hold her little sister, the smile on Dia's face was a million dollar one which they knew couldn't match any other joy in their life.

Khushi helped Dia caress Avni as Arnav introduced them to each other,

"there you go little princess ... now thats your little sister Avni. " said Arnav as he dropped a gentle kiss on the 2 little girls.

After a while Avni was replaced by Adi and then by Advay until Dia had her fair share of playing with all 3 of them, later Anjali took her so that she could sleep as Arnav & Khushi along with the kids were led to the nursery, if the decorations outside had shocked them then this astounded them , it was so magical, like straight out of a fairytale.

The family soon left them alone to have their own quality time, and soon Arnav and Khushi got busy in getting the babies ready for their first night at their home, Arnav watched over the kids as Khushi got them ready one by one, they weren't much of a trouble yet since they were mostly sleeping.

Dinner was once again a noisy affair as they took the well fed little ones downstairs in their little prams and kept them nearby as the grownups had dinner, every family member had their eye on the children, watching them for the slightest of noises, rushing to them even if one of just twitched or turned, racing against each other to comfort them in case they cried.

It was one of the most beautiful  evenings of the Raizada family, the Guptas had left after making Arnav and Khushi to visit them as soon as possible.

Once dinner was done, Khushi and Arnav took the babies to their nursery and placed each one of them in their cradle, Adi and Advay had cradles covered in blue sheets while Avni's was pink in color and her cradle was placed between her brother's so that she could have them on her either side, Arnav hugged Khushi close as they watched their babies sleep, the nursery and their bedroom had a connecting door which had been left open. ( nursery looks something like this )

Khushi changed for the night and came out to see her husband watching the 3 sleeping beauties, she went and wrapped her hands around his back as she placed a gentle kiss on his shoulder blade, Arnav smiled as he saw Khushi move and place a kiss on each of their cheeks as he did the same and then he led her out into their room.

No words were exchanged as Arnav hugged Khushi tight in his arms, they both were conquered by the overwhelming need to be in each other's arms , their insurmountable happiness in their life had them thoroughly floored and they wanted to feel the sanity return and they knew that only their moment of togetherness could calm them both down, Arnav pulled out of the hug and cupped Khushi's face and smiled at her, his eyes shining with endless love for her and the three souls sleeping to glory.

He gently placed a kiss on her eye lids and then her forehead as Khushi relaxed against him, Arnav desperately wanted to take her into his arms and show her how much he loved her but they both knew that they had to wait, still Khushi was irritated, of all the things their doctor had instructed them on, this was one part she didnt like ...

She wanted her husband.

She craved for him.

She wanted to love him without any fear and inhibitions.

Arnav could feel her irritation which made him chuckle, he gently lifted a riled up Khushi in his arms and placed her on their bed and got in next to her, he covered her body with his as he looked at her deep in her eyes,

" Princess ... I know how you feel ... I know what you want ... I want it to ... want to love you but your health comes first.

You had a very strenuous pregnancy Khushi and your body needs time to recover and am not tampering with that.

Its just a month Jaan and then there wont be anything to hold us back.

I promise. "

Khushi closed her eyes in frustration , she knew there was no point in arguing with Arnav where her health and safety was concerned, she felt absolutely fit as a fiddle but she didnt want to worry Arnav so she decided to control her heart's desperate pleas and her body's raging desires.

But Arnav wasnt finished,

"maybe we cant make love but the doctor never said that I couldn't touch you ... never said that I couldn't kiss you ... never said that I couldn't cuddle my wife ... there are many ways for a man to show his woman how much she is loved. "

Khushi felt a thrill shoot through her veins as she heard him ... as she saw the naughty glint in his eyes ... and the last thing she remembered by Arnav's lips descending on hers as her arms pulled him closer, the night loomed away in the full moon as Arnav held her in the comfort of his arms and loved her through his words and caresses, their own way to show their love , passion and gentle care for each other but little did they know that the little tykes would be waking up soon to give them the first of their numerous sleepless nights.

Arnav felt like he had barely slept when a loud wail woke him, he jerked awake to see Khushi already rushing into the room nearby and what followed was total chaos as Arnav looked absolutely at a loss on how to handle the situation.

All three of their little ones had woken up one after the other and was now yelling at the top of their voices, that made Arnav wonder how such tiny mouths could emit such shrill shreaking cries, Khushi was feeding Avni  while Adi and Advay brought the house down, soon the entire family was up hearing the cries, Arnav heaved a sigh of relief as Payal rushed in and took Adi into her arms so that Arnav could handle Advay, Anjali and Pooja rushed in next while Varun NK and Akash looked equally baffled by the night time events.

The ladies couldn't help laughing seeing the men shocked, Anjali turned to Arnav,

"chottey why don't you go and sleep ??

We will handle this ... you have office tomorrow ... don't stay up "

But Arnav shook his head in negative ... there was no way he was going to leave Khushi alone to deal with the kids, raising a single child was a task but raising 3 altogether was a gigantic task and he was determined to be a hands on father to his kids,

"no way Di , I will be working from the office till the kids have a proper life pattern, I don't want Khushi to have to deal with all the diaper changes and baby tantrums all on her own.

The little ones need their father as much as they need their mother !! "

Khushi had happy tears in her eyes as she felt her husband hug her even while she fed Avni, their family respected his decision.

As soon as Avni was fed, Advay was given into her arms as Anjali taught Arnav how to burp the babies while Payal and Pooja handled Adi who had completely lost all his patience.

Avni happily fed was now happy in the arms of NK Varun and Akash while Advay was replaced in Khushi's arms by Adi. Soon all the three kids were fully fed and wide awake, apparently in no mood to sleep at all and the rest of the family forgot their lost sleep as they spend the rest of the night watching the kids.
