FF Our 9 Months - Part 37

Sorry sorry ... that I promised a morning update but got delayed ... sry peeps .. unexpected work came up !! 

Hope u like this update ... a lot of action to be seen in coming updates 

this update is specially for Ananya ( cherrybloom ) and Rashmi ( rulama )  

love u all for the unconditional support u have given this FF of mine  and on an important note, this FF will possible wind up in another 10 parts or so, I have no heart to end it but the story is almost towards its finale !!

After closing the door and drawing the curtains, Arnav went back to Khushi and as soon as he reached her, she tugged at his hand , bringing him close to her, she didn't say another word as she made herself comfortable in his arms and Arnav let her do as she wanted, she smiled at him as her eyes met his, her expression slightly glazed, she looked so fragile and delicate in his arms ..

"Are you tired Jaan ?? Do you want to sleep for sometime ?? "asked Arnav as he wrapped her in the blankets , making her feek warm and secure.

Khushi touched his cheeks, slowly absorbing the feel of his skin ...

" I am not tired Arnav, but I would love to be alone with just you for now, I don't have the energy to talk to anyone else right now, lets just be here please ?? " asked Khushi , her eyes conveying her need to be with him.

"Anything for you Khushi, we can go down when you feel perfectly refreshed, till then I am going to be with you, relax princess and just rest for now. " said Arnav , who was about to go to the washroom to get fresh but he felt Khushi holding him back ...

"come back soon Arnav, I don't want to be alone for too long !! " beseeched Khushi and Arnav couldn't bear the fact that she was begging for his presence, he crouched down next to her and cupped her cheeks ...

"Khushi you will never be alone , not as long as I am alive and remember this that you will never need to beg for my presence, am all yours Khushi, you will always have me !!

Close your eyes Khushi and lie down for 2 mins, I will be right back within no time !! "  replied Arnav as he placed a firm kiss on her lips and headed to get changed.

Khushi did exactly as he had asked, her eyes closed, she was lost in the thoughts of her husband an within no time she felt him getting into bed with her, when she opened her eyes, she saw Arnav clad in a blue nightshirt and white track suits, she moved closer into his arms and gently tugged at his shirt buttons.

Arnav immediately understood what it is that she wanted and helped her remove his buttons as she pulled his shirt away, wrapping her arms tightly around, Khushi wanted to feel him as close to her as possible, as she watched , he slowly unwrapped her sari, slowly removing all their barriers, pulling the sheets snug over them as they held each other close, lying skin to skin, Khushi  traced her fingers through his body, absorbing his touch as he traced patterns all through the length of her body, no words passed between them, it was only the feeling of touch as they held onto each other, only their fingers and lips did the talking that night...

Confessing their love silently ...

Their care vivid in their touch ...

Their passion unquenchable that night ...

The pain, a silent presence in their midst which they knew they would erase together ...

Their little ones ... the symbol of their future tomorrow ...

A dream which will one day tell the world Arnav and Khushi's eternal love saga, the eternal torch bearers of their legacy and love !!

And just like that sleep took them into their world of colors more beautiful than even the most vibrant of rainbows !!

As a new day dawned, Khushi and Arnav woke up to a new beginning, all the secrets of their past flushed out, barely words were uttered but they both knew what had to be done.

Before their babies were brought into their world, the last shred of evil had to be removed, there would be no violence, no revenge , no hate , Shyam had to know the truth and accept it whether he liked it or not and he would accept it and then pay for his evil deeds.

They walked down in to the main hall to see Anjali and Nani busy in the preparations for a Pooja, when Khushi entered holding Arnavs hand tight in hers', they all got up to take her into their arms, but she didn't let go of his hand, his fingers clutched safely in hers and it didn't go unnoticed by the others , how the love birds held onto each other, Arnav held the pooja thali in his hands along with Khushi as they did the aarti, their hearts whispering the same prayer, his one arm firmly wrapped around her waist, and as they finished and Khushi turned to the others, she felt Arnav pulling her back, turning her round to face him, she watched with a silent smile as he brought out  a small box from his pocket, the sindoor for all to see as he took a pinch of it and filled khushi's maang.

Their family watching them with tears of happiness while Khushi had eyes only for Arnav, he slowly bend down and pulled aside her pallu to place a soft kiss on her belly before standing up , he cupped her face and placed a fervent kiss on her lips as she crashed into her arms !!

No one said a word, there was no teasing, not a single comment was spoken about it as they moved to the breakfast table, happy chaos all around !!

Arnav & Khushi as usual fed each other, from the same plate , the time passed, they were seated in the living room, Arnav was sitting next to Khushi, Payal Pooja and Anjali were gathered around Khushi, taking it in turns to feel their 3 little angels moving around inside Khushi's belly as she laid her head over Arnav's chest, both of them enjoying the serenity and peace of being surrounded by their loved ones, Arnav squeezed her hand slightly, she looked at him, knowing that it was time. She shifted slightly as Arnav held her close as he turned towards his family,

"there is something we need to tell you all " said Arnav as the others looked up, Khushi looked at everyone whose attention was now on them,

"I am meeting Shyam !! " spoke Khushi clearly into the stunned silence that followed her announcement ! !

There was pin drop silence before a barrage of outbreaks of shock and fear !!

"Bhabhi ! "screamed Anjali , Pooja and NK

"Khushi "screamed Payal while Varun clutched Dia tighter into his arms !!

"What the !! "bellowed Akash ...

The elders looking stunned !!

Arnav held up his hands in explanation ..

"relax everyone, hear us out !!

Do you all think I am going to let Khushi walk right into hell's mouth ??

After everything that has happened, there is only one solution,

to make Shyam accept to himself that his obsession with Khushi is not going to help him get her,

to make him understand that she will never be his ...

that he can never come between me and her ...

and he has to hear all this from Khushi ... " spoke Arnav as Khushi took over ..

" I am meeting him tomorrow , alone , atleast thats what we want him to believe !!

But Arnav will be there nearby, he will join me and Khushi will face the biggest truth in his life ...

That he is going to be alone to live his disastrous life !!

And his acts will not go unpunished, the cops will be waiting to take him away !! "

Arnav intervened ... "and if you ask us why we are doing this now ??? "

he placed his hand possessively over Khushi's belly , her hand over his ..

"then its because we don't want our babies in a world where even Shyam's shadow is a threat to us, when they come, it will only be happiness around us !! "

Their family looked shocked and scared, the conviction in their voice's scaring the wits out of them !!

Varun placed Dia into Anjali's arms before moving to Arnav ...

"Bro are you sure about this ???

Have you thought this out ??

Khushi in her last stages of pregnancy and her meeting Shyam right now ??

What if something happens Arnav ??? "

 Varun asked, echoing the thoughts of all the people in the room to which Arnav shook his head in negative ...

"this is the right time Varun and nothing will happen to Khushi !!

How long will we all live in this fear ?

Shyam , a lifelong threat to our happiness ??

He is a psychopath Varun, he is obsessed with my wife and will stop at nothing to try and get her !!

Only Khushi and I can make him see the truth,

The law and legal system can punish him but they cant make his mind see the reality !!

If he gets taken into custody, the day he gets out , he will come after us again !!

The thing to do here is drive him insane, make him see the reality through his madness and it has to happen now !!

And this family has had enough of reasons of pain from him and no more should happen !!

And so it has to be done now , infact it will happen tomorrow !! "

NK and Akash got up ... Akash spoke ..

"so thats decided then !!

Bhai is right , we have had enough, 3 new lives are soon going to enter our world, Bhai and Khushi's children, the heir of the Raizadas, and when we welcome their birth, not even the snake's shadow will be there !! "

NK joined him ...

"thats right now !!

So tomorrow we put an end to the creep's insanity !!

Dont worry Nannav, we will all finish it up together !! "

He turned towards Anjali ..

" Di , you and Dia are going to be there as well, when the creep meets his fates, he should know what he lost !!

So you will be there along with us !! "

Pooja spoke up ...

"not just you all, I will be there, Payal bhabhi will also be there , our entire family should be there !! "

Khushi spoke , all eyes on her

"Shyam as he fades out of our lives should realise in all its intensity, what he lost in his life because he laid his eyes on another woman despite having a loving wife who once loved and worshipped him equivalent to the Gods !!

Shyam should pay the price for Breaking Di's heart and I will make sure he pays !! "

Arnav gathered her close into his arms ...

"not just that Khushi, he played with your life, tried to destroy you, he tried to kill our happiness and I will not forgive him for that !!

Not even the vultures will want his body after I am done with him !! "

And He hugged her, not caring that all the others were watching them, he was going to hold her through out their lives shielding her from every storm that might enter their lives and tomorrow, the chapter named Shyam was about to be closed forever !! "

Their entire family took the silent oath, when the sun sets tomorrow, Shyam will be nothing but a wisp of memory in their lives !!

A shadow which will never return ever again !!

Its the bday of a special someone, whose place in my life can never be explained, I call her Ray ,she is my Ray of happiness, the silver lining in my life and not a single second of my life passes where she isnt in my thoughts, a part of me without which I cant survive, calling her my best friend just isnt enough coz she has too many roles in my life !! 

On her bday, we ( thats me and Manna ( Cheryth ) ) together want to tell u Ray ( Dalmuthya ) that we love you, always will, till our forever and beyond that  

we are here to wish u the best bday possible, that its the beginning of all the happiness in ur life !!

"Stop Surviving and Start Living "

Khushi sat in her University library , poring over books as usual , having completed her MA in Literature, she was now pursuing journalism, it was her dream to be a reporter one day, it was her dream to fight  for women rights , to improve the lives of all the oppressed women in the society and she also nursed a secret ambition, a dream that very few people knew about, to become a writer, to use her works to make a difference and to accomplish her dreams, she worked day and night,

almost 25 years old, Khushi had very  few friends, Dia and Rakhi, her 2 best friends, to them she was an open book, they knew her  inside out, Rakhi and Khushi had been together since their school days and  Dia had entered their lives as they joined college, and very soon the three  went onto be the craziest BFFs, their college  had ever  seen, they knew her dreams, her pain, and if Khushi was ever seen smiling and having fun, then it was only when these 2 were around, Khushi claimed Dia and Rakhi to be her lifelines, her lifesavers but they knew better, they knew who  it was who sustained her, challenged her, who it was that brought out  the fiery angel huddled inside her, the person  whose  appreciation and opinion mattered the most to her though she would never admit it, not even if you pointed a gun at her and the name was Arnav Singh Raizada !!

Khushi's best friend since her early teens, her classmate, he was her haven and hell all rolled  into one, he was her batchmate in college  as well, currently doing his MBA, the heir  of the Raizada Industries,she craved his love, admonished  his care, gave free reign to rule her  life but tried hard to ignore his mastery over her heart and  her emotions, they  were the quintessential modern day Darcy and  Lizzy, constantly at odds but seeking out each other for anything and everything  in their lives.

Khushi was interrupted from her work as the 2 most important girls in her life landed in front of her,

"come on Khushi, exams just got over today , what are you doing inside  the library , surrounded  by a pile of books when we should be enjoying the beautiful monsoons outside !! " hissed Dia as Rakhi snatched the books away and shut  it up while  Khushi glared at them ...

"you know I cant girls, Its my first assignment for the University magazine as their editor in chief and I want it to be the best "replied Khushi as she grabbed the books back while Rakhi wanted to do nothing but drag her  out at that very instant but she knew better.

"fine then, sit here with it, you have been on this report since ages and we know you have finished it already, you just need an excuse Khushi to sit and slog yourself, do you even realise that you need to take sometime out to breathe , to have a little fun before you turn into an old hag !! "raged Rakhiwhile Dia tried to hold her back but Rakhi was in no mood to stop today ... "we are leaving, incase you want  to join us , you  know where to find us, lets go Dia before she tells us off " said Rakhi  as she and Dia left, leaving Khushi once again at a loss as to what to do, she knew her friends had a point but her mind would never let  her heart have a free  reign , it had always been Mind over Heart for her.

Meanwhile Dia fished out her mobile as soon as they were outside the library, she typed  a message on her  phone and pressed send and then winked at Rakhi , who let out a slight mischievous grin,

"what do you think Dia ??? half an hour before Miss. Khushi Kumari  Gupta joins us ?? "asked Rakhi  as Dia shook her head in negative ...

"you kidding ... 15 minutes and she will thrown right into our arms !! " replied Dia as the girls  went away whistling to themselves having done their job to perfection.

Arnav Singh Raizada slammed his locker shut and marched away in the direction to the library, his collage mates staring at him as he passed, he was an enigma, someone they could barely begin to understand, handsome wasn't a word good enough to describe him, hailing from a rich powerful family, he had a magnetic personality which made the women around clutch their hearts as he went around, but none of them mattered in his eyes, he barely spared them a look, the men around him felt intimidated to even look at him in the eye, a control freak over the people he loved, his heart had place only for very few souls, blessed with looks that could give the filmstars and royalty of the world a run for their money, he was every girl's Mills&Boons dream come true but ASR as he was commonly referred as didn't care for any of these notions, his heart and mind was fixed on one woman, and she seemed to love to run as far away  as possible from him but the underlying truth was  that he was the only one  to whom she surrendered eventually !!

Khushi yelped in shocked as she felt  the books and papers fly out of her hand, within no time Arnav was dragging her towards her locker, he hurled her forwards while she turned to glare at him, furious at him for blatantly displaying his hold on her, she opened her mouth to speak but he cut her off ... "open the damn locker Khushi !! " said Arnav while he sorted her books and  papers ,

"what the hell Arnav, I am working right now , how can you drag me out  like this and who asked you to come looking  for me "raged Khushi not caring that people were staring open mouthed at her, her audacity to talk in this manner to Arnav though not new was always a shock to the onlookers, particularly the  fact that ASR didn't have any problem tolerating her uncontrollable anger !!

Without sparing her a look, he turned and punched in her locker code and opened at while Khushi opened her  mouth only to be cut off ...

"I don't need your permission when it comes to you Khushi , when it comes  to you , I know better and right now you are coming with me whether you like it or not " said Arnav calmly as he kept her materials inside and locked her locker, he then turned  to her and pulled her into his  arms, looking straight into her eyes as she struggled in his arms, "I am taking you with me now and there is nothing you can do to stop me " finished Arnav as he pulled her by her hand, leading her outside while Khushi  hurled  insults at him relentlessly , while the female population of their college sighed wistfully, they would have given anything in their  world to be in Khushi's place and more than anyone else  Khushi knew this reality best !!

Dia and Rakhi  sat munching popcorns as they saw Arnav drag Khushi into central park, they watched the duo like they were an interesting movie, neither didn't bother to give any indication that they  had seen the two coming closer to them, within earshot now, Arnav turned Khushi around to face him...

"How long are you going to run ???

you think I don't know your dreams  ??

You want to be a writer , you want to make a difference in this world, you want to fight for the weak and oppressed, I know your dreams Khushi, I know your heart and most of all I know the memories that still continue to torment you, but I also know one thing , you are only 25 years old and as much as your dreams are important, it is important that you live your life, important that you listen to your heart instead of running away from it, important that you accept the  fact that you are as madly in love with me as I am in love with you !! "

Dia and Rakhi looked up in interest now, Khushi was their best friend and they knew where her heart was ever since Arnav had walked into her life but she kept herself in denial and to see Arnav bring Khushi face to face with the biggest reality of her life, they knew Khushi would need to make a decision soon.

Khushi though initially shocked to her guts found her voice ...

"Oh yeah ... I love you ?? I don't remember saying that, forget saying it, I never knew it myself so then how did you decide that I love you ??

I have just one dream Arnav and you know it, Dia and Rakhi knows it as well and you three also know that there is no place for any other love in my life !!

You have a luxurious life ahead of you, you have women who will drop at your feet as you command them, find a girl who suits you in all terms and get settled Arnav.

There is no you and me and there never will be !!

I don't get it ... why do you even think that you can live with me ??

What will you do as i go about following my dreams  ?? there is no place for a family in my dream Arnav and its hightime you accepted the fact !! "

Replied Khushi calmly , her heart breaking into a million pieces as she hurled the words at the man whom she loved body and soul, but Arnav saw through her shield, he could see her heart shattering as she tried to push him off and today he knew he wasn't going to let the walls around her heart stop him from telling Khushi what she never wanted to hear.

He stepped forward and clutched her hands, his fingers tracing hers as he looked at her deep into her eyes ... his brown eyes holding her black pools captive in his ...

" I have known you since we were 14 years old, there is nothing about your life thats hidden from me Khushi and you know it all too well because you were the one who shared your craziest dreams and your scariest fears with me, if I know your pain today then its because I heard them from you, about me , my heart, my soul, the wild and the ugly, the ups and downs, you know it all, I have never kept anything hidden from you and its with that honesty I am telling you ..

I love You Khushi Kumari Gupta .. whether you like it or not , whether you accept it or not, whether you want me or not, whether you believe in us or not, I love you for who you are , for everything you are !!

You don't want to spend your life with me, as my love, as my wife ... fine then, no one will stop you. You are as free as anyone else in this world to live your life as you please, live your life, live your dream Khushi but don't you dare try to tell me how to live mine !!

I will live the rest of my life as I am doing now .. and my heart will love you forever, even when life leaves my body, today or in the next 50 - 60 years, my heart will always beat for you, if I die then it will be as Arnav Singh Raizada , the man who never stopped loving Khushi Kumari Gupta.

If I have to wait till my last years to marry you, then I will Khushi, I don't care how long it takes, I don't care if it doesn't happen, all I know is that I am going to pursue my dream as you pursue yours !!

My only advice to you is, as you accomplish your dream, remember to breathe, remember that you are alive and that you are living.

You are 25, then live as a 25 year old, not as a 35 year old lady, you have always raced against time Khushi, be careful that you don't die out before your time comes !!

And remember, I will always be waiting for you."

Arnav placed a firm kiss on her forhead , cupped her cheeks and placed his lips firm upon hers and then broke apart, and walked away without a word, leaving Khushi shell shocked, her eyes tearing up, she had nothing to say as he walked away, it had started raining, heavily and she stood there getting drenched, Dia and Rakhi walked over to her and held her tight, the 3 friends stood there in the heavy rain, Khushi taking in strength from the firm support of her friends.

Rakhi and Dia took Khushi to their place, they helped her dry herself, she hadn't uttered a word since Arnav had walked away, Rakhi walked in with a cup of coffee and held it over for Khushi who took it silently, they sat on either side of hers, facing her ...

Dia spoke up "what have you decided Khushi ?? " Rakhi held her hand ...

Khushi looked up ... staring at her friends for a long time ... finally finding the strength to speak ...

" what do you expect me to say ??

That I love him ?? fine then yes I love Arnav but what does that mean for me and him ??

A marriage ... it will start off well only to be doomed , I will be the worst wife and the worst mother possible, my dreams are elsewhere , how can I make a family with Arnav while my goals are headed someplace else ??

Why destroy his life as well as mine ??

Why should I walk into hell and then struggle to get out of it ?? "

Dia looked at Khushi ...

"you are a coward Khushi, a coward who is incapable of facing the realities of her life, how can you accomplish your dreams when you don't care about what your heart wants ??

We are live humans Khushi , not machine made robots !!

Robots function according to their brain but humans follow their heart , how can you heal others when you don't have one, because if you had a heart then you wouldn't be blind to Arnav's love for you.

Arnav is cursed Khushi because he fell in love with a robot like you who only LOOKS human !! "

Khushi looked furious as tears flowed .. Dia's words were shattering her, ripping her but it wasn't over ,

Rakhi turned Khushi to face her ...

"you want to help the women around the world who have been deprived of love and a secure life, you want them to rediscover themselves, you want them to believe in the beauty of life .

Tell me this Khushi ...

How can you make other women believe in the beauty of life when you yourself are living in denial ??

How can you help them find love and independence in their lives when you are rejecting the love of your life, the man whom you love from your heart ??

Deny all you want Khushi but Arnav's opinions and his happiness and his life, it matters a lot to you !!

You are like a moth drawn to the flame, you try to resist him but at the end of the day, everything in your life starts and ends with him. "

Dia broke in ...

" Arnav loves you Khushi and he doesn't care whether you accept it or not , he will continue to live the rest of his life loving you for eternity, its upto to you face the truth staring at you in the eye and make the best decision.

Remember that nothing you do in your life will give you any satisfaction unless your heart is happy and your heart belongs to Arnav, it always have and it always will. "

Khushi looked at both her friends, their words, each of it falling like a bombshell, the voices of truth, 2 people apart from Arnav who never hesitated from tell her the reality for what it is, her mind and heart were at war with each other, her heart was screaming for Arnav's love while her head was pulling her away, locking her down in the darkest dungeons hidden away in the recesses of her heart.

Her friends watched her as she silently got up and walked away ... Khushi walked through the streets, slowly walking towards her personal hell, as soon as she reached her doorstep, the door flew open and her mother stood facing her ...

"where the hell were you Khushi ??? cant you atleast come on time on important days ??

Didnt I tell you to come early today ??

Have you forgotten thats its your parents marriage anniversary, its a day for family time and you come home late, after whiling away your time with your good for nothing friends !!

Have you ever made an effort to be part of your family ?? a part of your parents lives ?? " raged her mother not even letting her enter the house ... Khushi who had been silent all along had enough, she finally snapped ...

"what anniversary am I supposed to celebrate ??

You call this a marriage ??? a marriage where both of you are trying to hold onto each other even when you both know its literal hell !!

You want me to help for the picture of a perfect family ??

Have you ever once thought about your daughter ... abused all through my life , growing up watching you and dad trying to make a non existent marriage work, whom should I blame for my lost childhood ???

Tell me mother, what dreams have you given me ???

My entire life has been a hellish nightmare, a nightmare that refuses to stop haunting me , a nightmare that doesn't let me live my life with my heart !!

I have never been able to be a child, I have been a gorwn up woman all my life , racing against time and fates to escape this hell you brought me into 25 years ago !!

You want your husband and for that you used your daughter , thats what you did !! "

Screamed Khushi while her mother looked unperturbed ... and she spoke ...

" Oh now you are being just another adolescent who finds it easy to blame their parents for anything and everything lacking in their lives !!

Well since you have so much to accuse us for, its time we gave you your dreams, an escape routs from what you call hell !!

Get in Khushi, your father and I have something important to tell you, we have been saving this surprise for you for quite sometime now "

But Khushi knew better than that to fall for her Mother's words ...

"what is it mother ?? I am not entering this hell hole unless I know what new torment you have waiting for me "

Khushi mother hissed at her, frustrated at her daughter's impudence ...

"you will never stop being difficult on us ... will you ???

Well then have it your way because as much as you want to get rid of us, we will only be too happy to give our daughter away in a society deemed respectful manner .

We have found you a suitor Khushi, he is your dad's friend's son, the boy saw your photo and would like to meet you, and am sure you will also love him and then you can be off Khushi, far away from your parents !! " beamed her mother as though she had delivered the best news possible.

Khushi staggered back a few steps, she saw the walls closing in on her escape route, she knew she had to run before it was too late or else she will be trapped in hell forever , a hell which her parents were getting ready for her ... she turned around and fled, not caring for the voices calling out to her, raging at her, insults being thrown at her, Khushi ran like her life depended on it, she ran towards her reality, she didn't stop until she reached where her heart was taking her to..

The memories since her childhood flashing in front of her eyes as she fled ...

Arnav was sitting in his couch, in his garden, his eyes closed, Khushi's face flowing through his memories, his heart was aching for her, all he wanted was for her to come straight into his arms and accept her love for him and just as he prayed, he felt a light weight crashing in on him, he jerked his eyes open to see Khushi splayed across his chest, looking completely lost and alone , her eyes reflecting the fears of her heart ... he gathered her right into his arms, her face buried in his heart, he held her close, he heard her quivering voice ...

"We will not be my parents right ??

Will we live each day trying to paint a happy picture in hell ??

Will we be doomed by the shackles of marriage ?? "

Arnav pressed light kisses on her face, calming her down ... "no Khushi , we are not your parents, and we will never be, we aren't like any other couple in this world, we are Arnav & Khushi and we are meant to be with each other forever, our hearts will hold each other captive forever !! "

Khushi's questions didn't stop ...

"but what will we do when I try to accomplish my dreams of being a writer, when I go about trying to help the tortured women of our society find their own lives ??

How can I be the perfect wife Arnav ??

How will we raise a family if the mother isn't around for her kids ?? "

Arnav smiled at her, and cupped her cheeks and lightly kissed her on her lips , murmuring against her lips ...

"I will be with you wherever you go Khushi. Its not your dreams alone, our life together is our dream and your dreams are as good as mine.

Khushi looked at the conviction in Arnav's eyes, willing herself to believe in his faith .. she got up and pulled the sleeves of her salwar kameez, revealing her bare arms and legs, she beckoned Arnav to look closer and he saw faint marks on her arms and legs , he didn't need to be told what it was, he already knew ... and Khushi spoke

"Abused all my life, I never knew a happy childhood Arnav, I don't know how to raise a child , how to give a mother's love, I know nothing about being a woman .. how are you going to live with someone who is haunted by the darkness in her life ?? "

Arnav pulled her back into arms , his hands passing over her arms and tracing the marks in her legs

He slowly placed firm kisses over the marks, Khushi closed her eyes as she felt her wounds healing, the ugliness of the marks being replaced by the purity of Arnav's endless love for her

"if you have been in darkness all your life, then I will fill it with light, you are a woman Khushi, a fully bloomed woman and being a woman, all the inherent qualities are already in you and you will be the best mother to our children !!

Who is talking about child here Khushi ?? we are going to have an entire army of kids !! " said Arnav as he winked at her lightly while she blushed a faint shade of red .

He lifted her in his arms and carried her in his arms, taking her into his bedroom, placing her gently on his bed as he got in next to her ...

He cupped her cheeks in his hands and looked at her ...

"Marry me Khushi and make me the happinest man in this world !!

Life without you is my worst nightmare !! "

Khushi held his hands which were cupping her cheeks and smiled at him ..

"I love you Arnav and I don't want to live my life without you.

Marry me Arnav, make me yours !! "

Thats all it took Arnav to place his lips upon her soft inviting ones, he kissed her with all the love he had for her, their lips tangling in their heady passion for each other , a kiss that was long ago written down in the fates, they lost themselves in their all encompassing love for each other as Khushi let go of the darkness in her life to love Arnav as her heart always wanted to !! 

Khushi moulded herself into Arnav's arms as she forgot everything else but Arnav and his love, as he loved her like a man does his woman, the world lay forgotten as they completed each other, whispering promises , silent oaths to be with each other for their forevers.

Hours later, Khushi was still lying in Arnav's arms, her hands splayed across his bare chest, her ears over his heart, hearing his heart beat in sync with hers, his hands drawing circles over her bare arms, cuddling and holding her close.

They were dragged out of their blissful web of happiness by the sound of Arnav's phone ringing, seeing the name , he answered the call and put it on loud speaker ..

Rakhi and Dia on the other end ...

" Khushi ... what are you doing there with Arnav ?? " asked Dia while Rakhi laughed wordlessly ..

Khushi smiled at Arnav as she placed a kiss over his heart ...

" Where else will I be ... I am not a robot Dia, I am a human and I am where my heart wants to be "

Dia and Rakhi screamed in happiness , their joy evident in their high pitched screams , Rakhi couldn't help but ask the question ...

" Dia and me, can we get our bridesmaids dresses ready then ?? "

This time it was Arnav who replied ..

"get it ready at the earliest girls, getting you girls ready for our wedding is the only delay for our big day , rest all is can be done in the blink of an eye !! "

Dia broke in "go romance your girl Arnav, we girls are going shopping !! "

Rakhi disconnected the line while Khushi blushed as she buried herself into the crook of his neck but he caught hold of her face, bringing her closer to his, looking at her deep into her eyes...

"Arnav aur Khushi hamesha saath rahenge !! "

With that , he caught her lips in another kiss, a kiss of promise that sealed their lives together forever !!

Hola My Lovely Readers  

Me back after my exams, relieved it all went good and now I can get back to my writing !! 

so this is the update which I woulds ay is the beginning of their love story !! 

And I hope you enjoy it, their love isnt easy but I hope to make this journey beautiful !!

Khushi held her the violin , her eyes on Arnav,

she could see his encouraging smile,

the selfless love,

the unrelenting care,

his undying faith in their love ,

and right then, she knew it was time for her to take the first step, she would be lying to herself if she lived in denial of her feelings for Arnav, she loved the man sitting in front of her right now, watching her as though she was the only soul existing in his world and it was time to tell him that she loved him just as madly as he did !!

And the music burst forth like the waterfalls that rush down as the clouds burst , in perfect harmony with the nature, her music echoing the deep soul scorching love their  hearts felt for each other .. and Arnav listened to her mesmerized while the others were lost in the soul rendering magic of Khushi's music.

                 one day the shy bud was visited by a flirtatious bee.

khil uthi voh kali paaya ruup naya 

                       the bud bloomed wide, it assumed a new form.

puuchhti thi kali ki mujhe kya hua 

                           the bud asked, what happened to me?

                      the flower laughed quietly; love happened quietly.

                there was a mountain river, it flowed to meet the sea.

As she sang, her words conveyed all that she wanted Arnav to know, her life had been darkness and misery,

she had never in her wildest imagination dreamed that one day she would have a man who would love her as though she were his heartbeat,

never had she thought that she would get a family who would forget everything else at the drop of a hat and rush to her when she needed them,

Arnav had taken her into his life, into his heart , into his life with everything  that had happened in her past , her present and her future, she knew she would live her future together with Arnav.

Her eyes remained on Arnav's all throughout the song, never once leaving his lest she miss out the myriad emotions flitting through his eyes and as she finished, there was silence all around.

Khushi had eyes only for Arnav, who seemed to be at a loss for words, Alaka and Akash knew that they had been witness to Khushi's confession of her love for Arnav, she hadn't merely sung for their Bhai, she had laid her heart bare for him and for everyone else that mattered, their Bhabhi had finally acknowledged her love for their brother. On the other hand Payal didn't know what was worse, being alive to see Khushi s love story with Arnav blooming or else the fact that she could do nothing to squeeze the life out of Khushi and destroy her !!

Akash nudged Alaka and Payal and motioned for them to get up so that they could leave and give the love birds sometime alone. Payal grudgingly got up and accompanied Alaka as Akash led them away, Arnav and Khushi barely noticing the absence of their siblings.

Arnav slightly moved his hand towards Khushi and held it hesitantly, he wasn't sure what had just happened, it was too surreal to believe and he didn't want to hope too much, was it really Khushi telling him that she loved him or did she just sing the song for him without being aware about the meaning of the lyrics , his heart was thundering, not sure how to react or what to expect.

Khushi on the other hand sensed his confusion, his doubts ,when he held her hand, she returned the pressure, gripping him back harder, she didn't take her eyes off him ..

" Arnav .. I love You "

The words were a mere whisper but Arnav heard them loud and clear, her voice sending thrills down his spine, make his heart thunder inside him, it was as though they were suddenly bathed in light and happiness, A shooting star streaking across the night sky as the stars twinkled , the moon barely concealed beneath a dark cloud, the moonlight falling upon them , giving their surroundings an ethereal glow, Khushi's face glowing in dim light, only for Arnav to see..

A miracle was happening, what was once a mere dream for Khushi was really happening in her life, Arnav knew he would hear these words someday but he never fathomed that it would happen so soon !!

Arnav saw the honesty and conviction in her eyes as she confessed her feelings, it was one simple line and Arnav saw it in her eyes that he held her heart as much as she held his. He watched mesmerized as Khushi moved closer to him, her face barely inches away from his, he knew she was waiting for him to speak and he could never make her wait ..

" Khushi !!

I love You Princess, I always have and you know that.

Your music burns my soul Khushi but today you have made me the happiest man in the world.

Are you sure love ??

Do you feel its the right time ?? are you feeling rushed ??

Jaan .. you know I can wait, there is no pressure Khushi ...  "

But Arnav never got to complete the rest of his words for Khushi had placed her fingers over his lips.

She slowly took his hands in hers and raised them to her lips, she pressed her lips into the hard yet warm inside of his palms while Arnav sat still, barely breathing, the feelings of her lips was choking him in an avalanche of sensations but Khushi didn't stop, she kissed each of his fingers , and then raised her eyes to his ..

" I love you and there is no better time to tell you this than right now because this is the right time Arnav, my hearts tells me I should tell you and I did, whether you like it or not, whether you feel its right or not, what matters is that its the right time for me to tell you and I did and I have no regrets about it. " finished Khushi 

without missing a beat,

her voice unwavering,

her face the picture of sincerity and confidence in her faith.

Arnav didn't hold back any longer, he pulled her into his arms , crushing her tight in his arms, burying his face in her long tresses and his heart rejoiced when Khushi returned the hug, hugging him back equally tight, her hands caressing his back as she hugged him closer, not wanting to let go, Arnav murmured silent whispers of love just for her to hear ..

"I love You Princess, I love you with every heart beat of mine and

I promise to love you forever...

To hold you close to my heart...

To never let you go ...

To never ever leave you alone ...

Its our forever together Khushi, where it will be our world, our Vaikuntha as you named it which we build and nurture together with our love for each other. "

Khushi felt tears well up in her eyes as she heard Arnav, she knew it was just the beginning of their life together and she couldn't wait to enjoy each day to the fullest with Arnav by her side, her tears staining his shirt, he pulled her to face him, seeing the tears glistening on her cheeks ..

He slowly leaned forward and placed his lips on her cheeks, his touch feather soft, moving over her skin, Khushi sat still, absorbing and revelling in the firm touch of his lips, the care and warmth healing her unsaid wounds, he kissed her closed eyes, the tears streaming down, his pert nose, moving to her forhead, slowly moving to her ears, gently peppering her with kisses, moving over her cheeks, he gently cupped her face within his palms, their lips barely an inch away from each other, she parted her lips in anticipation, welcoming Arnav to take the lead, he saw her eyes beckoning him but he held back ..

Her confession itself was abig step for Khushi and he didn't want to overwhelm her with sensations for which she maybe unprepared but it was Arnav who was in for a surprise ..

As he slightly pulled away, he felt Khushi holding him back ... he turned to look at her ..

" Arnav I told you that I love you , in front of our parents siblings and the Gods, you are my husband and that means you have all the rights on me .

You don't need to hold back and I don't want you to "

Arnav had no words left, he didn't know how or why the Gods had blessed him with so much happiness at a time when he least expected it, to know that Khushi wanted him as much as he wanted her ..

He brought her closer to him, concealed in the darkness of the night, surrounded by the beauty of mother nature, Khushi went into his arms willingly.He moved a stary strand of her hair from her forhead as he caressed her cheeks with his thumb pads, his touch sending her into a frenzy which she had never known before,she shuddered in his arms as he brought her closer and then ever so lightly, he placed his lips over hers, meeting hers in the softest of caresses, Khushi willed herself to loose her heart and soul into the beauty of their first kiss, to just feel Arnav and nothing else, and she did, Arnav knew she wouldn't take the lead , she would need time for that and he was more than ready to give her time , today it was all about him going to tell her through their first kiss that there was nothing in the world of which she had to be scared, that she had his protection always, that he would love her with all his heart and so he did !!

As he moved his lips over hers, it was hard for him to not loose control, Arnav had been a man free of addiction all through his life but ever since Khushi's lips met his, he knew his world had changed forever, the heady passion that she made him feel for her, the surrender of his heart to Khushi, he knew he would never recover and neither did he want to recover.

Khushi had gone on to become his lifelong addiction, she was becoming the very core of existence, his beating heart !!

They kissed slowly, tentatively, the time stood still, the fates witnessing something pure and unique, Arnav & Khushi shared their first kiss, their very first, a first for both of them.

Arnav slowly caresses the seam of her lips with his tongue, willing her to open up for him and Khushi lost in his love , easily opened them but as soon as his tongue entered her mouth, Khushi's senses betrayed her, the darkness creeped in, memories that she always tried hard to stash away came up in torrents and she could do nothing but succumb to it, she wanted to fight but felt her mind shattering, images of her ill fated past flashed past !!

Arnav felt her stiffen in his arms, her entire frame breaking out into shivers, he immediately sensed what was happening !!

He broke away from the kiss and gathered her close into his arms, holding her tight as she whimpered like a broken child , he had been prepared for this, he knew this would never be easy on Khushi, physical intimacy no matter how much she loved him , would be something she would take time to enjoy without her fears taking over and Arnav had decided long back that no matter how long it took, he would one day erase it from her heart so that she could experience their love in all its shades !!

Gathered in his arms, he gently rocked her as he caressed her back, placing light kisses on her hair, he crooned to her ..

" Ssshhh Khushi, its nothing ... am here with you. You are safe in my arms and no one is going to dare to hurt you, its only me Khushi and it always will be, forget everything else Khushi and just feel my arms around you, my lips on you, forget the dratted past, I wont let it haunt our lives again, you will slowly forget it all princess !! "

Khushi shook in his arms , her eyes tearing up, her words a heartfelt cry ...

"I am scared Arnav, the memories just hit out , will I never be able to let go of this fear ??

The night when I was violated, every girl out there who is blessed has beautiful memories of the first time she was touched by the man whom she loves and here I am, cursed for life, my memories with you always haunted by my ugly past !!

Will I never be able to feel your love without this fear crushing me ??? "

She cried in his arms, her pain like a million stabbing knives at his heart but he knew he had to be strong for her ...

"Khushi those memories are brutal and we know that but those are not going to be the memories of your first touch, when I touched you now, that's your first memory, the past is when you were violated and abused, you will have your firsts Khushi, and it will all be ours together to cherish, mine too , we will explore an entire new world of love and passion together and I promise you Jaan,

there will come a day soon when you will forget everything that once tortured you , not even an iota of those hateful memories will ever exist !!

Whispered Arnav as he gently smiled at her, willing her to take strength from his love for her , and so she did, she knew she could never trust her own strength when it was at its weakest but she placed her full trust on Arnav, all that mattered was his faith in her right now ...

"Kiss me Arnav, I want to fight this fear, I don't want the memory of our first kiss to be painfully marred by the demons of my past !!

All I want to feel is you and nothing else !! "

And that he did, her wish .. his command, he crushed her close as he slanted his lips over hers, Khushi and Arnav fighting together to push away the memories that still lingered , she opened her mouth with  a soft moan as Arnav's lips and tongue invaded hers, plundering the very depths of her soul , their lips tangling together, his teeth gently nipping on her lips, a passionate frenzy from which they both never wanted to recover , Khushi clutching his shirt tightly in her hands, her nails sinking into his back as passion took over and Arnav entered the very depths of her soul !!
